Mint.

Whether mint ice cream, mint candies, mint chocolate, mint chewing gum, mint toothpaste... Anything with mint. I don't like the taste. Never have, never will...

Yet there's so many foodstuffs out there you could think mint is a staple of sorts. It's probably just me, but I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can enjoy that taste ...

People always seem to be offering something with it, like drops for sore throath, biscuits over coffee, ugh...

Popcorn... I don't understand why people like it. It dries your mouth out and the taste gets old after the 3rd handful.
Id rather have a bag of chips please

Finally someone else with similar taste buds. My aversion for popcorn started when I was around 10. I was at a cinema with a group who said they'd get the snacks. I passed over my money mentioning a hot dog and they came back with popcorn and coke for everyone. I did without because I won't eat or drink either of them.

I don't like lychees or any raw fish/meat sushi. I can't see myself ever eating tripe and I passed the opportunity to have mother's cow heel soup that is thick like glue (they do actually make a type of glue out of cow bones). I won't eat chicken feet either. The most I'd ever use them for is to make stock. I know some people who would fight over who's getting the chicken feet and ignore a whole chicken.

I also can't stand most chocolates. I can't do the soft centred stuff and I don't like marshmallows. I especially don't like toffee or caramel. I'm also starting to dislike any icecream with chocolate in it. Also because many have started going the way of toffee/fudge/caramel in them I avoid most icecream especially Ben & Jerry's the biggest culprit.

Then there's beef. I'm growing to dislike it. It's too chewy and sticks in between my teeth too much. I need to floss straight away after eating it so I rarely have it now. I don't eat that much pork either. Some family don't eat pork for religious reasons so it's always been an iffy thing to have around.

I won't drink tea, coffee and hot chocolate, in fact I'd rather not have any hot drink at all. I will eat coffee cake or icecream (as long as there isn't any chocolate/toffee/fudge/marshmallows in it. I won't drink fizzy drinks, alcohol or juice drinks either. I'll occasionally have some fruit juice or make myself a fruit smoothie. Usually just water is fine for me.

I'm not a fan of Mc Donalds, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut and that ilk.

I just recently started liking chocolate to be honest. But I'm already starting to grow tired of the taste. The only chocolate I'd eat right now is a Hershy's milk chocolate..

Pineapples.

I love the flavor in drinks and stuff. I just don't like eating the fruit at all.

Pineapples make my tongue feel unpleasant. The acid in them is so strong and makes my teeth sensitive too. I hate all things that remotely taste like pineapple.

Chocolate, for me biting into a bar of chocolate is like biting into a block of cheese

I love pineapple. It however does not love me. I'm mildly allergic to it. Raw fresh pineapple gives me a rash and funny burning sensation in my mouth. Cooking seems to neutralise the problem so I can manage some tinned pineapple. I have the same problem with kiwi fruit.
