Reconquista was terrible though.

But curious as to when we actually get some more details on this then. Also tempted to look up the manga and read a chapter or two at this point.

Probably not. Those things are rather rare. And i don't think they are willing to invest into that atm.

You didn't miss out on anything there. It was .. really bad. I gave up after i can't remember how many episodes. The characters weren't interesting, the plot was a mess. List goes on.

I will say the animation style was good. The plot all over the map MC goes back and forth but its Gundam lots of Grey areas and always a guy with a mask plus people get killed that's the formula lol

But yeah, Destiny was worse. I can't tell which is worse between Destiny and Reconguista. Destiny succeeded in making nobody likeable and created so much unnecessary drama. On the other hand, Reconguista has no coherent story to follow. I couldn't even finish it from how boring it was and how ridiculous the show was. The story was all over the place and didn't make any sense. It's like the show itself had bipolar disorder. In one scene, the MC is grieving over the fact that he just killed his teacher. Literally the very next scene, he's laughing and cheering with his friends, apparently forgetting all about the battle. At least Destiny had an actual plot and didn't jump around from place to place, even if that plot made you want to cut your eyes and ears to save yourself from the torture.

I've watched just about everything Gundam... yes even Reconguista in G, Gundam Age, G-Saviour, and even the SD Gundam series.

Seed really isn't that bad as people make it out to be. They tried something a bit different and basically tried to combine Wing, probably their most well known and received western release, with elements taken from the UC Timeline. While characters overall were frustrating it did give us Yzak Joule and Mu La Flaga (one of my personal all-time favorite characters). Plus I also really liked Cagalli as well. She was flawed, yes, and showed what happens when people are literally forced and thrust into positions of power. I mean this is why when we first see her she's fighting with rebels and using guerilla tactics, then transitions into something else that is both strong, yet extremely frail and indecisive, but never gives up either. She even develops into a modest mobile suit pilot herself, even though she is much more suited for ground fighting and diplomatic relations. This is just one of the developments and insights I have taken from the Seed series and why I simply do not write it off. I'll still re-watch it from time to time.

And come on. Some of the mobiles suits from the Seed line are still some of the best to date. i believe most from the series are even in some sort of Gunpla kit by now across all the times (MG, HG, RG, RE, etc.).

Do you like your mobile suits to have a tail? Seems to monster like? I like when the suits have their own drones that surround the enemy and shoot

I actually prefer more "clean" looking Mobile suits. Clean and angular lines. Simple designs. Their image makes a statement, etc. They tend to be more straight forward and to the point

My fav. suit from Seed is actually the Strike Rogue. My favorite suit of all time in the Deathscythe Hell.
