My younger siblings call me beached whale and free willy lol. I'm just so big that whenever I lie on my side, I look like a whale.

My dad used to call me buddy when I was little. He then called my little brother buddy after he was born and now he calls me bud. Also, my grandma calls me hijo.

You got a promotion! My parents named their newest dog Missy, which was also one of my nicknames and it gets awkward when I visit.

"Missy get off the couch!"

"Um... okay."

"Not you, the dog."

My sisters nick name's were No-Megan and Nutmeg. She hates the latter and the first is a joke. She was told no so much, she thought her name was No-Megan and wouldn't respond to Megan.

My nickname is, depending on what I did, Dumb, Dumber or Dumbest. That and Big Ben (I learned to read a clock so I always said the time) for a while there, Bubba.

I call my dad Pop's, Dad, or Vater and my mom Mother, Frau, or Mom.

I call my Mom's sides parents Gramps and Grams.

My Dads side intimidates me too much so I call them Grandma (V.2, first one is dead) and Grandpa _______(Insert last name here).

A few my mother's former students and my best friend call her "Mom". I call them "Mother Thief" when they do. I sometimes call my mom "Plant Thief" (long story).

My niece calls my (deceased) dad "Papa". My brother and his wife call him "Pops".

My mother's younger sisters are nicknamed "Bee", "Bunny", and "Fanny".

I call my niece "Dejiko" and everyone calls her youngest brother "Nick". The middle child doesn't have a nickname because he his name doesn't lend itself to it and he hasn't really done anything to earn one.

My cousin calls his youngest daughter "Criminal".

A number of my cousins have nicknames: Kissy, Lexis, Andy, Bert-O, Dabann

I used to be called Ash by some friends, and my mother likes to make up random words for me like "poosa" or "busa". God knows what they mean.

Can I ask why or if there was a story to that? Were you really good at cleaning? I might not be understanding the nuance because I only have positive association with brooms.

Welp, it doesn't have anything to do with cleaning.
My dad called me "the broom" because he said my hair feels like a broom.
