I've watched Rokka and Parasyte, both which I loved. I am just so tired of animes that have cute/childish looking characters, it really ruins the experience for me. Also, no shows with fan service please.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It's on CR. Starts out slow but the first part is only 9 episodes. http://www.crunchyroll.com/jojos-bizarre-adventure

Shiki
Magic Index (? considerd for higher age atleast)
or M3: Sono Kuroki Hagane
Zetman (not watched that much of though so don't know how it is)
Texhnolyze
Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne
Psycho-Pass
Terra Formars
Zetsuen no Tempest
No.6
Claymore
Elfen Lied
Hellsing ultimate (+ TFS abridges series)

all of these are more grey and bloodier but in them being more "mature" then I could suggest few above but still it depends on what you mean by "mature".

Trigun

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Ghost in the Shell (I'd start with the first movie, but pretty much any incarnation will do)

Samurai Champloo.

Monster (if you can find where to watch it)

Try Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012). It's characters look really manly and It has a lot of fighting.

Also Berserk the original Berserk anime has no cutish/childish looking characters outside of flashbacks, is a fantasy and has a lot of fighting.
