A couple days ago there was a new update for the PS Vita app, claiming to fix some stuff. But the new update had disabled the screenshot feature of the PS Vita.

Why?

Perhaps someone found a way to abuse it to capture full episode videos, and the only way to stop it was disabling screenshots?

The only reason I can think of is that it has something to do with copyright stuff.

This kind of thing sometimes happens with certain kinds of media and media players. It's just a way to make the content providers happy. With how backwards the anime industry is, we should be happy we're getting streaming anime at all. The fact that they don't want us to capture images from it isn't surprising.
