That didn't answer the question.

Too obtuse an answer? Perhaps I should have said "the money comes from future generations."

Did you read the quote chain leading up to my comment? I was asking about where from the people whom the government taxes get their money.

1. Where does the government get the money to pay down the debt?

A. From taxes (was the response I got)

2. So where do the people the government taxes get their money?

A. From future generations. (??)

Jeb's never coming back. That's a fair assumption.

"Second amendment rights, huh? ..."

Have you looked at actual statistical data on violent crime over the past 20-30 years?
It's been consistently, significantly dropping without any major gun law reform. I don't personally own any guns, but if the data is showing improvement, why make dramatic sweeping changes to something that is already being resolved?
Only reason supporting gun laws I've seen is because of irrational media bias and lack of research.

I believe such changes have already been made. I'd consider them significant, including Brady's and the Assault Weapons Ban of 1994. The ATF was created in 1972?ish and they confiscated quite a bit of Guns. Hell, Waco was one of the more significant event for such a bureau.

interesting, lefties would say 'Christian extremists' but not Islamic extremists. When was the last a Christian or a Jew kill someone in the name of Jesus or Jehovah? Most terrorists are muslims and that's why we need our guns. we need to carry all the time. I think its a great idea to have segregation laws for muslims and homosexuals. especially in countries like south Africa and Israel, segregation is absolutely necessary. nowadays, when a Christian bake refuse to bake a gay wedding cake due to religious beliefs, he got fined over $100000, but when muslim truck drivers refuse to deliver alcohol and got fired, the court ordered the truck company to pay them over $200000. this is 'religious liberty' under democrats

Yeah, there's no reaching people like you who put themselves on a pedestal above everyone else who wants to live differently. I don't know why I tried. People can read your posts that are just filled with ignorance and I wont even to point it out anymore. I rest my case.

I think it's fair to suspect parody.

Speaking of lack of research. -.-

While it is true overall violent crime is on the decline ( and this is a global trend among developed nations. Its not related to firearms. ). The US has the highest rate of firearm related deaths by a huge margin of any developed nation save Mexico. Which beats the US by a fraction. Meanwhile, mass shootings have been on the rise since 2007. As of this year, firearms have also outpaced automobile accidents for the cause of death of people under 25 in the US.

So...is "Hey we're slightly safer than Mexico. but at least you'll get shot before you get hit by a car" really the national slogan you want to go with?

Suggesting it'll just get better if you leave it alone is absurd to put it mildly. You're averaging 1.05 mass shootings per day this year.

And keep in mind this is all with incomplete statistics. The CDC does not compile complete statistics on gun related deaths and injuries due to political interference. Likewise, police departments are not actually obligated to report all firearm related incidents to any federal body for statistical analysis. So the actual numbers are undoubtedly even worse.
