Hi, I find it very annoying that Hulu is starting to get more exclusive content. I wouldn't mind except I am Canadian and I can't legitimately watch their shows because they are only in the US. I am fine with them getting exclusives if someone else gets the rights for Canada. I think we need to make our voices heard. I e-mailed Sentai about this today and maybe if many others do as well they'll catch on that maybe having exclusives that are US only is a way to lose business. I haven't received a response form them at this point so who knows if they plan on doing anything about this. I don't know if anyone has tried this before so if this has been done and has failed let me know. Also, if I have posted this in the wrong section I apologize.

Doesn't bother me too much as a US citizen. However, many shows they land tend to be on Funi or Daisuki, so I'm not entirely familiar with Hulu exclusives.

The only one I can think of right off hand is Chivalry of a Failed Knight. Great series, but I hates Hulu+. I'll need to check out the commercial free option.

Actually, Hulu has exclusive rights to One Punch Man and Chivalry of a Failed Knight. Now, I don't know if this is because nobody else was willing to pay to pick them up or if Hulu paid for it.

One-Punch Man is also available legally on Daisuki.net, so not completely exclusive to Hulu.

I like Chivalry, but I hate the fact you pay for Hulu+ but still get commercials. I guess I can stomach it for one show, but I'd not if I watched more than one show on Hulu+.

K 2nd Season as well.

K and One Punch Man were both picked up by Viz (Neon Alley) which uses the Hulu player since they don't have their own video player.

Chivalry was picked up by Sentai, and pretty much every Sentai license has been of CR for the past 2 years (don't know the exact date).
While Hulu and CR have shared the Sentai simulcasts, this case Hulu probably bought out CR's share of Chivalry.

At least Hulu isn't as bad as Netflix when it comes to anime.

OPM is actually from Daisuki, that then shared it with Hulu (which is really how Hulu has most of its anime anyway, from others sharing to them).

But Chivalry would be their exclusive as far as I can recall as I don't remember anyone announcing it.

Thankfully, there is another option now for those willing to pay more ($11.99/month instead of $7.99 per month):

I thought most Hulu exclusives WERE Canadian shows.

Thanks for the information. I might pay the difference if I knew there was more than 1 show I'd watch on Hulu+.
