Are the colors in light form or pigment form? The answer depends on that.

When all wavelengths of light are combined they create polychromatic (white) light. When you're colour mixing such as when you paint, combining all the colours creates black as you are blocking all the colours out.

Now that depends. All the colours present in light makes white light while all colours being absorbed into something makes black.
