You get either white or black (or maybe it was grey I forgot I should know this), depending on how you mix the colors. Two colors, one cool one warm, always turns out brown no matter what, I forgot what it was...no wait, it's red and green. Everything else turns into a color, you mix red and green together and you get brown every time its the weirdest thing. I think its usually black....its pretty difficult to get it to be white although its possible. Never worked yet for me though. I think its because everything has to be perfectly equal, too much of the slightest bit of color and bam! You get color. Hmmmm. Now I feel like looking this up in my art book on colors and how they mix and stuff.

My physics brain is telling me that it'll give you white, but I don't really want to think about it too hard considering it's the weekend.

Red Green Blue is additive coloring (light). Red Yellow Blue is subtractive coloring (mixing pigments).

Additive = spectral colors
Subtractive = absorbing some colors not others.

White Light = Red + Green + Blue

There is no brown light though it can be thought of as brown if one of these is missing.

White Pigment = Nothing absorbed & all reflected.

Black Pigment = All absorbed & none reflected

Brown pigment = Primary + secondary color (the one opposite can't think of the term right now)

red + green or blue + orange or yellow + purple = Brown pigment

All other colors are created by mixing with white, (artist wise, never with black or your instructor will hit you for wasting their paint) or changing the strength of the light source or structure of the refracting device.

And everyone lived happily ever after.
