The alterations were just repaired it seems. I also am not jumping to conclusions yet as there's no confirmation on what, if anything, was stolen. I'm going to wait and see what the admins have to say.

No if they took account info and credit info before crunchyroll took back control it's a huge loss to crunchyroll. They can be sued to bankruptcy. Target had to shell out millions for their hack incident. http://money.cnn.com/2015/03/19/technology/security/target-data-hack-settlement/

You can't exactly compare CR to Target, can you

Two very, very different entities.

Yeah, will do, it's on a credit card, and if I get any weird charges, they will cover my ass because of fraudulent charges.

lol they can hack CR for all I care, CR might have my credit info and so may the hackers. But my cash is safe since I have to enable payment on my bank account and it only lasts for 30 minutes, and guess what it's another password. I got pissed a few weeks ago when my bank made the change, but now I'm happy

Lucky. It takes so much time to get another credit card by mail what an annoying day.

You can always revoke all payments done by someone else on most banks (at least in my country).

To be honest since they fixed it so fast, I'd say they were attacking the web-server hosting the website and messing with the HTML. They may also have gotten into the MySQL and done a SQL injection, since there was a post regarding this in the news section. This means that user information may have been collected, but I doubt Crunchroll saves credit information on the same server as it keeps it's users. Or at least I hope since it's never a good idea to store that kind of information on a single server
