Soooo, anyone taking vacation time from work for this? I know I am.

Nope, not going to waste vacation time on a game. Given Bethesda's release history, I am going to give them several weeks to patch it before I even buy it.

I like Bethesda, but their PC releases are hot garbage on day one.

Not hyping as of yet because this is Bethesda we're talking about. As with all Bethesda titles you need to wait at least a month or two for modders to fix the game first. Judging by the leaked footage Fallout 4 will be no exception. Its animation, programming, etc, is up to the typical Bethesda level of "quality".

Which is to say the characters look like unspeakable flesh puppets desperately trying to emulate human behaviour.

As the others have said, I think it would be best to postpone that day off for Fallout 4. The bugs will be swarming in that game on release. Makes me remember when Skyrim and New Vegas first came out. *Shudders.*

Why don't they ever just fix the game solidly before releasing it?

I am so hyped for Fallout 4, I can't wait to play it. I was going to take a few days off from work to play it but I decided since we have thanksgiving coming up I'll just take a few days off then to play the game. This will give me some time to go through the intro and character setup, allow Bethesda to fix any day one bugs and when I start really playing it I can just play it non-stop.

Personally just like spending hours upon hours exploring the different locations. Really hope there is no level cap like we initially had in Fallout 3.

I am on the hype train. Definitely will play it once i get it, even if it is loaded with bugs. Patches will be made in the future i'm sure, so i don't mind having to tolerate the bugs before then.

That's good to know. Nice to see that Bethesda is learning from their past mistakes; overall I consider Bethesda to be one of the best game developers, they are certainly my favorite game developer.
