Every time I take out my contacts and put on my glasses, my eye makeup starts to really bother me. This doesn't happen when I'm not wearing eye makeup. So what's up with that?

Anyone else have that problem? Or just me? lol

And also, I wanted to start this so that the community can start talking about makeup. I really like makeup, but because I work out a ton and I value sleep and being able to rub my eyes/face, I don't wear it everyday. What's everyone's favorite brands? I like more indie brands like Hard Candy, but for my face I like Neutrogena. As for style, I don't contour unless it's for cosplay...and normal eye makeup is lining the corners to make my eyes look bigger and all that jazz.

But anywho...let's talk makeup!

Then do it Don't let you being a guy hold you back. Heck, if you don't want to go out in public...find a close female friend and have fun at her place with makeup and stuff. Guys have really great foundations for putting on makeup, and I've done it for my guy friends before.

Regarding this^^, it might be your eyelashes hitting the glasses if you have long lashes. Cheap mascara might harden and the lashes become stiff and sensitive so it might be uncomfortable if they are long.

I wear brand makeup like Bobbie Brown and Chanel, so I don't have this problem anymore.

As a guy who has not wear make-up, so I do not know if this helps. I think it might be your eye make up getting into your eyes a bit.

That's good to know! I do indeed have long lashes and wear cheap mascara! Which is funny because I wear Chanel eye shadow, yet I skimp on mascara and liner. Liquid bothers me, but gel and pencil do not.

Thank you for this. I will definitely try this out.

It happens to me too. I tend to make my eyelashes look longer and it ends up hitting my glasses and it's really annoying???
I can't wear contacts to avoid that sadly. I have eye problems and my doctor told me to not wear contacts T_T

I also enjoy make up and I usually use my little brother as a practice (nah he doesn't care, he looks like a girl anyway? XD)
Eyeliners, Mascara, Blush are my thing uwu but never lipsticks. They look hideous on me ;;;;;

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that you can't wear contacts. I make a vision concession because they can't make contacts in a high enough power for me. So I definitely see better with my glasses on. But I wouldn't be able to put on makeup without my contacts. I'm really impressed that you can do it! Like really impressive! I couldn't imagine putting on makeup with my awful vision!

LOL That's good practice! And you can test out color combos as well :)

I feel you on the lipstick! My lips are thin, so it looks strange. I actually wore a brightish red lipstick today! (And was self-conscious the whole time haha T_T ) But I wanted to pair it with my blue shirt....probably gonna just stick to my light/nude pink lips that doesn't look like I'm wearing lipstick, lipstick.

Oh yeah. It gets to be ridiculous....to the point that my friends have honestly considered the permanent makeup as a solution.... And to be honest, if I didn't cosplay and change my style all the time, I might have considered it too.

You're basically correct. It's using tattoos to basically replace makeup. Like you can do eyebrows, eyeliner, shadow, blush...pretty much anything.
