I wanna answer both but I do feel frightened of death more than intrigued. It's really the fact that you die alone and go through the processes alone. Not to mention you never know when your time is up.

Probably because some people don't want to die. They want to keep on living.

the thought of immortality is almost disturbing, I sure don't want to live forever. however, before our life time's end I have a feeling we might be able to live further trapped inside a robot or something. simply download our "data" and upload it to a bot. we'll still be alive and going strong I suppose. of all the changes we see in our life time, why torture ourselves to see more. well for those who don't live inside a smartphone of course

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Death is an intriguing mystery yet frightening. No one knows for sure what happens to you after death. May God have mercy on our soul.

Ive done some crazy stuff as a kid that honestly should have killed me...
Ive eaten rat poisoning...
Completely submerged a blowdryer in a sink full of water to blow bubbles...
Fork in an electrical outlet MANY TIMES...
Liked playing with spiders (black widows) and would carry them over to my mom to show her...
As a toddler i would jump into a swimming pool (didnt know how to swim) and just sink to the bottom until someone realised and got me out...then procceed to jump in again when nobody was looking...
I once tried to microwave a camera...set it on fire...
...i have an affinity for electricity and water appearently...
...i wanna get shocked by lightning and see if i survive.

Well, it doesn't frighten me. I'd say it intrigues me in some levels.

You people are full of shit. Of course your afraid of dying- thats why you ultimately experience fear at all. If someone fired a gun at you and you tried to dodge then your afraid of death. As for those people who say they are afraid of the process of death but not death itself, if someone walked toward you with a hypodermic needle filled with cyanide and said "don't worry its totally painless" would you not run for your life like all hell had broke loose? I bet it would be pretty terrifying. Everyone who values life fears death. Stop trying to be so pretentious by act like you're all so deep about being intrigued but somehow not frightened by it.
