Its been more than a decade since I've ran just one mile... My high school coach had me do it once my freshmen year and it was a low 5. I wanna say 5:06 or 5:09. Was always more of an 800m kinda runner. The extra two laps was a bit much...

Nowadays I mostly run at least 3-4 miles and I'm averaging about a 6:30-7 minute pace. This threads got me curious about what my one mile pace would be...... I'll give it a shot tomorrow!

Well, if I'm out of cigarettes I can probably run it in less than four minutes.

I once was able to run a mile in slightly above ten minutes. Now I'd probably be lucky if I could run one in fifteen.

I have asthma, so, uh, I can't. I run about a quarter mile, maybe, before having a massive coughing fit. When I did it in high school, I walked most of it and clocked in almost 20 minutes.

I'm not what you might call, "in shape."

My fastest time was 5:20. It'll probably take me like 7:30 now.

I've always been more of a sprinter. I have no stamina.
