Of all the forms of cricket, I like 20-20 most. It's a run feast.
50 over match can be fun but can be boring too.
I don't think test matches are for viewers. It's a 5 days game! It's what its name implies - for testing players. Though now-a-days test games show more results thanks to the mentality change in players brought about by 20-20 cricket.

^yeah bit like the Ashes hey, really lop sided games.

Well the Big cricket thing is happening in America this weekend i think? A game in New York, Houston and Los Angeles.
So many former greats of the game are playing!

Warne's Warriors: Shane Warne, Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting, Michael Vaughan, Jonty Rhodes, Jacques Kallis, Andrew Symonds, Kumar Sangakkara, Saqlain Mushtaq, Daniel Vettori, Courtney Walsh, Wasim Akram, Allan Donald and Ajit Agarkar.

Tendulkar's Blasters: Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, Brian Lara, Saurav Ganguly, Mahela Jayawardene, Carl Hooper, Moin Khan, Muttiah Murlitharan, Graeme Swann, Curtly Ambrose, Shaun Pollock, Lance Klusener, Shoaib Akhtar and Glenn McGrath.

We dont even get games like that here!?
Enjoy.

Honestly I just want Americans to experience the joy I have watching and playing AFL. In my opinion it's the greatest sport.

America vs. Japan should be the actual "World Series", unlike the current one where it's America vs........... America. (to answer question, I don't think they play each other)

Totally world inclusive when only 2 countries are involved. At least they should try something like the FIFA CWC format.

---------

I'm just not a fan of American sports, as ironic as that is being an American. I'd rather watch Gaelic football than American football.

Yeah typical America "world series" involving no nation in the world except America! :P

I love our national sport (AFL). And cricket. I dont understand why soccer/football is so popular? I think the world cup is a big part of it?
Even i got semi excited a few years back when Australia qualified for the world cup for the first time in 30 something years.
Then i got bored again, oh and i was reminded why i didn't like soccer, guys laying on the ground like they were in agony all the ime and taking dives n shit...
I guess iam more used to AFL which is a contact sport.

Americans play rugby also hey?

We play a weird international rules game against Ireland every year. Its a cross between soccer, rugby and AFL.

EDIT: I bet this would make ya's watch cricket more?

Yeah i guess its pretty hard to follow multiple sports. Only so many hours in a day.
I dont watch American sport so i cant talk. But these matches that are getting played over there would be really awesome to see.
But it probably wouldn't have the same effect on Americans that dont even know who any of the players are(as it would for others seeing legends of the game from all around the world playing together).
T-20 Cricket is pretty action packed, probably will have music and fireworks and cheer leaders and that. So its a little Americanized in those aspects.

Lots of Aussies do like and watch and play baseball and basket ball, but they are not all that big here. Netball seems pretty big, with the chicks.

Cricket is played here in the Bahamas but if you ask most of the locals most of them would be like and then "Oh yeaaah...that thing my uncle who went to U.W.I likes."

It's not particularly popular, and the only reason anybody ever sees a game at all is because the main cricket pitch is right across the street from a popular hangout spot (Arawak Cay Fish Fry).

You cannot watch Cricket without a beer in hand, its unAustralian. Also Beer Cricket is the best version of Cricket ever invented. One dayers are the best, yet test matches are great if you have a few days off.

Cricket is far more dangerous than Baseball, mostly because of the cricket ball itself is f#$%in deadly. Its so deadly that people have died, and the batters have to wear pads and helmets, yet sometimes protection does stop you from getting killed.

Yes it is a pretty ballsy game. People act like its a pussies sport becasue of all the protective gear and its know as "the gentlemans game"
But you need to have balls to face up against the fast bowlers, as a batsmen. Also in the feild, if your fielding in close and the ball gets whacked right at your its a hard ball and come flying fast. No gloves(except for the wicket keeper).

Anyways, i just watched some of the highlights over in New York. It looks like they got a pretty decent corwd but they are all Indian! lol iam not sure if there was even a single white or black American there?
