Thanks for the tip. I have not seen "Zetman" and "Zetsuen no Tempest" but plan to watch based on their description. I have watch " Texhnolyze" and like it but saw it first on one of the paid channels.

These are a few of the shows that I enjoyed watching and would like more of the same: Hell Girl, Speed Grapher, Kino's Journey, Ergo Proxy, Last Exile, Ghost in the Shell, Black Lagoon, Monster, Gunslinger Girl, Pumpkin Scissors, Samurai Champloo, Samurai X, Afro Samurai, Ninja Scroll, Samurai 7, Basilisk, Blade of the Immortal, Cowboy Bebop, etc. So if such material exists on CR, I just have not found one to my liking.

Seconded. To this day I have not seen Neon Genesis Evangelion because of my personal preferences regarding pirating and the fact that I don't have Hulu. Who the fuck has Hulu? Nobody. Nobody uses it.

On a different note, I'd like to see Nichijou return. Nichijou was the shit.

Someone from one of the Forum posts said that the reason they didn't get The Punch man licenses is because of that certain company??? I don't know if they mean Crunchyroll and that company doesn't get along or what.... -shrugs- Or maybe they're asking for lot of money! XD

Don't watch it... It is horrible. The only thing I remember from the whole show was a mecha eating the invading angels or whatever they were. It's a whiner than normal main character that has daddy problems.

I've heard incredibly positive things about the original series. Were you watching the reboot films, perhaps?

The main criticism toward it seems to be typically centered around Shinji, but the show is centered around the psychological problems the main characters undergo. Doesn't that justify it to a degree?

I watched the original... Horrible just horrible. The characters don't feel real at all they each have psychological problems and they turned the problems up to max so much that entirely obvious or easy choices become a nightmare for them. Then the ending.... I still have no f*** idea what happened it was absurd.

If you want to watch an anime where the characters are all hopeless train wrecks then I suppose it is good in that sense but then you have dat ending... I watched the whole thing hoping the ending would justify watching it but the ending.... Idk I just don't know.

There was understandably a lot of outrage about the ending. They later made an OVA to give a new one.

Sure it would be nice if CR could get more shows, but they've got a ton of them already. Between Hulu, Netflix, Funi, and the rest there is a lot of competition. But in my opinion CR has the best website and community. Funi's website is a disaster and the streaming options are limited compared to CR. Netflix is expanding their anime selection, but they usually get stuff after it's finished airing week to week. I've only just subbed to Hulu today because they FINALLY started offering ad free streaming. The website layout is decent but still falls short when compared to CR. I don't like how they've made people pay for streaming with ads for years up until now either.

Personally I am pretty happy with this site. I pay $100 a year for a premium plus sub and use the hell out of it. I pay almost $150 for Netflix and rarely use that site. Funi costs me $60 and is worth the sub because they usually have a decent simulcast lineup. I am still unsure about Hulu. Unless they offer a deal on an annual sub, it's going to be another $150/year sub. There are a lot of series here that I can't find on the other three (only took me an hour to find 75 series), but I am still not sold.

CR is my main site due in part to the huge selection of anime, great website layout, forums, and comments. This is the best site I currently sub to. Having more shows would be nice, but the simulcast stream here is better than what Funi has. I haven't looked at what Hulu is simulcasting yet, but their community support and website layout aren't on par with CR.

I'm fairly sure CR have twice the shows this season than it's nearest competitor.

There really isn't much to complain about when you stop and think in terms of business. CR is the biggest anime streaming site bar none. They offer a plethora of shows that stream every season. While most of these shows stream in North America, it only makes sense. CR is an American based service. They stretch themselves to bring content to users of other regions. Europe needs more competition on the anime front before it gets a significant amount of licensed shows per season. That's just it. Possible is possible. And impossible is impossible. The world runs on cash.

I honestly think Cruncyroll should start a fully uncensored Hentai service FOR ADULTS ONLY. Id pay an extra 10$ or 20$ for it
