I never used to like them before, but i've grown accustomed to them. Any sort of dish that uses pickles can have jalapenos substituted in and it's just as good. As long as the spiciness of a pepper doesn't completely overpower the other flavors in a dish i'm not shy to it. I don't tend to eat stuff just for the sake of it being hot, i guess its an acquired taste

It's got a vinagery taste I prefer habanero peppers

Someone brought a bag of habaneros to work to try and trick people into eating them, joke was on them, I ate all their peppers.......

I am not a fan of Jalapeños. I like spicy things, but Jalapeños give me a stomach ache. No other chili does though, which is strange.

I grow a lot of peppers in my back yard for cooking and just general eating, but I find that my habaneros come out the best.

If I can't handle sriracha, then jalapeno is too for me I really like spicy foods but I can't handle it.

Jalapenos are alright. They're better in recipes than alone though.

Obviously Jalapenos go good in salsa, but my mom actually has a recipe when she stuffed jalapenos with cheese. They were basically like poppers, but instead of a layer of bread crumbs the jalapenos had a layer of eggs around them instead. After all that was done we made salsa to put on the covered Jalapenos and then ate them with rice. We always took the seeds out because a certain someone couldn't handle spice, but it was still good.

Anyone else wanna share recipes?

They are OK, I like them in some things, but not other things.

I do like them baked into bread for some reason.

Using Jolokia purée as bread-spread. Doubt Jalapeños would quite cut it for the spiciness...

It does have the flavor though, and I always associate Jalapeños with kebab, as it's always served with it over here, whether as traditional kebab takeaway or kebab pizza in their different variations...

I think they're okay. Don't know any Jalapenos personally, but I find their women to be hot as hell.
