You know where else the devil is at ?

It was very boring!! But according to them, it has a reason why it was plain red. I forgot where i read it, though. As far as i remember it has something to do with equality.

I think Starbucks should instead put some furry, love able looking holiday creatures on their cups instead.

Like, these guys. Nothing could possibly go wrong with them...

It saddens me that in this country, things like the design or lack of a design on a cup is what riles people up he most. We have a large homeless population, rampant drug usage and an education system that is practically third world, and yet we're concerned about coffee cup designs...

My heart can't handle the ATROCITIES Starbucks is getting away with! To think they have the goddamn gall to not put in the fucking effort to promote a wholesome and right Christian Christmas. It's sickening and I hope they all get what's coming to them! Take all their jobs away! Burn the stores down! Don't drink coffee from those heathens at Starbucks!

This isn't the stupidest thing I've seen stupid people get pissed off about, but it's up there. Good job society. You're doing it right.

Agreed. It was accounting stating cost savings. Money talks.

It's...... a god damn red cup.

Nobody with a functioning brain should care.

And on that note, why Starbucks when there's good old Asian coffee.

I thought red was the whole Christmas theme, what's so anti-Christmas about it?

Ha ha ha.

I like the simplicity of it. It gives a traditional holiday vibe without emphasizing the weather, foliage, and religion of only some places and populations.

When Toby Keith sings about a red cup everyone loves them, Starbucks uses red cups and they're the suddenly anti Christmas.

Nope: I've been strongly opposed to stores putting Christmas promotions out before Thanksgiving for decades. Starbucks is just my latest gripe.

Only minor complaint I have is that they should wait until after Thanksgiving to break them out. Otherwise, I'm cool with it.

I don't drink coffee, so I don't care.

Seen the headline on newsfeeds. As far as I know, this may well be a hit piece by the secular media to skewer Christians. They cite this one guy's campaign as somehow representative of Christians in general. I'll assume he's sincere, but he's just one guy. As a Christian myself (and relatively fundamentalist at that, and who even buys Starbucks coffee on occasion-- much cheaper though to grind and brew your own cup at home) I've never heard of him, and no one I know really cares a wit about this (non-) "issue."

I'm starting to think this is the case. I mean, seriously, I run in a number of different conservative Christian circles. The verdict? This is a huge waste of time & no one is upset about it. I really don't know anyone actually making hay about this. I think it's a nothing-burger scandal brought on by one obnoxious loud voice that the media ran with because...they love talking about the "War on Christmas" more than anyone actually is willing to fight that fight.

Since I don't drink coffee, and have been boycotting Starbucks for other reasons anyway this is a complete non-issue to me. I think people who do worry about this kind of thing have too much time on their hands.

Overpriced, hell yes. Delicious af yes as well. Besides where else can I get a Soy milk latte, you lactose digesting freaks may not care about that but us lactose intolerant people do. As for the red cup, don't we have better things to do with our time?

Wouldn't it still be cheaper just to take a lactase supplememnt with coffee that has milk products in it. It's what I do.
