Yes, God created black holes. Or, at the very least, God set into motion the system which allows them to exist. Just like everything else. Black holes are not "evil", there is no reason to believe they go against God. (Technically, God encompasses all things, including evil. But I digress) Black holes serve a beautiful purpose. They allow galaxies to exist. I also consider it highly likely that the center of the universe (where the big bang occured) is home to the largest supermassive black hole of all, which all of the galaxies orbit.
Black holes, for the record, are not holes at all. They are actually the most solid things in the universe. They are composed of dark matter, a substance of such great density that a penny made from it would weigh tons. So they are not portals to anywhere, although I suppose anything that kills you could be considered a portal to heaven.

I don't know whether or not black holes are created by God. That's your own personal decision.

Scientifically I can explain to you that a black hole is the result of a mass so dense that it collapsed in on itself, forming a gravitational singularity. A gravitational singularity means that there is basically unlimited gravity compressed into a single three dimensional point (think of a dot a paper, it's a point in space) that draws everything in.

Gravity is so strong in blackholes, that nothing can escape after it has crossed the event horizon, which is basically a disc of pure blackness that forms because not even light can fly out of it. You would not survive, nor could any equipment survive, what is basically a gravitational hell. There are many theories as to what exactly this amount of gravity would do, but the most accepted one is spaghettification, which means that your mass would be stretched into a very long and very thing string.

I am glad that at least one person brought logic instead of faith into this thread. Faith has its place, science isn't that place.

No. Cute idea though. Although I'm not much of a believer in mystical stuff like astrology, unicorns, ghosts, demons, etc.

In a dozen-trillion years, there wont be anything in the universe except lonely, roaming black holes. All the galaxies, nebulae, quasars, planets, will have long drifted far away from one another and freeze from the greatly declining heat in the universe. (We're already at a stage where the universe is MUCH colder than it used to be). Everything will have subsequently been deconstructed by black holes. I seriously wonder what happens after that stage of the universe.

I personally don't believe in God so I don't believe he created anything

this is redundant.
if you believe in a creationist god then you already believe the entity made black holes because you already believe the entity made everything.
so your question is.
do you believe in god; also, what is a black hole?

If you believe in god then you would not believe most of the research gone into figuring out what a black hole is and how it works, and if you do believe the research is still applicable to your religion then you have to remind yourself of the timeline of your holy text and try to not warp it to conveniently fit science.
to answer your first question people can only say yes or no, to answer your second question you can only refer to answers that apply to the notion that the answer is no due to a clash of science and just about all religious standpoints on this subject.

so no, and the science is not fully there yet but without getting too into it, you can say they are centers of gravity that eventually become the center of a galaxy once they conjoin and become super massive black holes.

what i am trying to say here is that op is a troll and he is fire baiting.

black holes are made when stars die, therefore stars made the black holes.

Just like humans make androids.

People who believe in God are just people that never experienced hardship in their lives.. and they think they need to thank and pray to God. Well guess what, it's just a concept. If you havn't already guessed, I'm being pedantic. My main point is that you should think for yourself instead of being so quick to believe what others wanted you to believe

No, the earth was created in 7 days just 3 thousand hours ago and unicorns were hidden from us, but they really exist...

Everything you know and have experienced is a lie. We're all just a story book controlled by the SUPREME BEING WOOOOWOoooowoooOO

Mixing science with religion.. lol. Why don't you ask "god" yourself? Surely he'll answer.

But seriously, if it didn't say it in your religious(wacky) book, like... Koalas for example. Surely god had no idea black holes even existed. I'm sorry to offend but when people ask seriously illogical questions in a logical manner, I can't help but laugh. No. Santa doesn't bring you presents on the eve of December 25th. That's just your parents sneaking in presents under the tree when you fall to sleep. The milk and cookies? Well, those are thrown (In my house anyway). Adults generally don't have metabolisms for saturated sweets. I do enjoy the milk after I add some ice :)

I guess to interject some serious dialogue into your thread instead of just attacks against your theology.

If, "God" Created the universe who created, "God"? And who created the entity that created god? and who created the entity that created the entity that created, "god"? Or if your answer is, "well god just 'is' " Well, I would respond, "Couldn't the universe just 'be' as well?"

I believe black holes and water, and living conditions on earth just, "are". There was and is no god. So I would say, "No. God did not create black holes because it was man who created, "god".

Not very religious but I like to sometimes contemplate what God actually is to me. To me if God was a for sure real entity he would be life and death. He/She/It makes lives but also takes them.

Depending if you believe in God or not. I personally am a believer.

However, I think it`s like evolution going hand in hand with God`s work. To me I just think he made these properties this way and let them grow within these laws, whether it`s for the best or not. Since it`s all free will, it just happens.

To me atleast. Still what the heck happens after a black hole?! Anime Universe?! Maybe every fiction is actually a real universe and every fiction in their universe is us?

Haha, well it`s all fun.

...NAAAAWWWWWW!!!!!

At which post of their last fifteen or twenty "Discuss" threads did you figure that out?

Uh, actually, I think the OP was attempting to be snotty-atheist as well....Didn't pick up on that subtle use of irony, in our zeal for a personally-validating public scrap, did we?

Oh well, who cares, let the two darn Rock'em Sock'em Atheists knock each other's block off, each one thinking the other is quoting "Biblical dogma" by pretending to take it literally, in their fear that everyone else is!
Pass the popcorn, and we can root for....them both to finish each other off, and shoot the winner just in case.

Meaning, that having black holes is a necessity of having gravity.
If we didn't have gravity, we'd be a lot worse off, and then where would we be?

Gravity is one of the four main principal forces that dictate the behaviors of the universe itself. Without gravity life wouldn't exist.

Theory goes that God created everything, right? So assuming black holes fall under the blanket of "everything" then God must have made them.
