Sorry if I spelt it wrong .

So anyways I got someone punished on a game (long story) and I think they ddosed me or something... Like, for about 2 days now whenever I log onto my computer my wifi works for about a minute then it goes extremly slow, I cant play anything on my PC because its to slow and it was hard enough getting onto CR. I asked my friend who knows alot about stuff like this and he said that theres sometimes a problem with my wifi service (sky) where sometimes the wifi goes bad on certain devices on the network, but its only been my computer having this problem, but my phone got the same problem for about 30 minutes last night. So is it aproblem with my wifi or have I been ddosed or is it even my pc having this problem im not sure

My computer is a windows 8 acer which is fairly new.

Any help is appreciated thanks!

honestly, the only way you got ddossed by the guy is if he found your ip or something, so if your name in your game you've been playing is the same as your skypes (most common way to get ip) you have a high chance of getting ddosed.

Ddos attacks can vary too but sometimes they could stop your connection to the internet in general, i'd rather call sky and tell them to have a look at it.

If all your devices are not affected, it's not a ddos attack

Anything is possible really, especially if it is only one device having the problem. Call the ISP help line if one is available.
