General question what's the earliest you can remember? If I really push and time scale everything I can get about 2 memories from when I was 3.

Mine is late 3

I remember a few little impressions from something that I think was my mother at the hospital with my new born little sister in her arm. That must have been when I was roughly 2 years and 4 month old. Well in fact the blurry part I remember is more me trying to get around the hospital bed, looking up at all sorts of relatives that went something like "look that is your little sister", but I don't remember the actual view of my sister or my mother. Probably because actually looking up was hard due to my size vs the size of the bed.

Now that is a pretty foggy memory that, if it is correct, can be timed very well.
Another memory I have is myself showing three fingers on the question on "how old are you?" into a camera in front of some stairs. That photo still exists, proving that memory. So that can be proven better, but cannot be timed as well. Well actually maybe the photo has a date on the back. Dunno. Also maybe if I did some research there might be a photo of that day that shows the scenario in the hospital, knowing my relatives there should be photos of such an event.

There are fragments of one particular Christmas with my dad's parents. I think I was 4, and they got me bulky roller skates that I instantly fell in love with.

It was a good holiday.

Earliest bad memory was being bitten in the face by a dog. It's just a vague flash of black fur with the blue glow of a daytime sky above. I was about three years old at the time.

2. I had a flashback of staring down at a stool and a basket, examining the reeds/fibers/whatever that made up the bottom of the basket and the seat of the stool. I remember thinking about why they were so similar even though they had different uses. Something weird like that. It was a very brief memory.

Next would be when I was 3. I got my ankle caught in a bike chain and scraped off a layer of my heel. It hurt so much I didn't cry.

Next after that would be when I was 3, still. I was watching my cousin and his dad climb a lychee tree. I wanted to join them but I was prohibited from climbing up there. I knew I wouldn't be able to climb, anyway, so I stayed put. They dropped the fruit down in a basket. Grandma peeled one open for me and there was a white grub inside.

I remember as a very small child in preschool walking along a fence. When I heard a girl say she missed her mommy. I stopped and realized that I also missed my mommy and started to cry.

I remember sitting in my crib and watching Barney. As an infant, I always hated Sesame Street. Don't know why, but I did.

Watching a German Maitag festival. I was about 2 and a half years old. I also learned from watching a video of this later on that I could pour a beer better than most Americans at that age.

Somewhere between 1-4 years old. A nightmare in which the door in the hallway came alive; it was big, mean, angry, hungry, and coming to get me.

When I was 4 years old.
I don't have any memory of anything before that age.

When I was 2 or 3, I was crawling under the seats in an airplane, and looking for my parents but just finding random strangers staring back.

2 years old. Sitting on my mother's lap watching the original Star Wars movie in a theatre. I suppose it's no surprise that 38 years later I still love it.
