Had to look up the word "retardant", that's a new one for me lol.

I probably spelled it wrong

Ok, I overreacted by blaming this on the refugees(which I apologize for) but doesn't France have the biggest Muslim population in Europe?

Oh well. Could have been worse. More lives could have been lost. Think 9/11.

THey shot up people at a restaurant and all over Paris. They also are holding hostages at a concert hall and now there's reports that they shot at a mall.

This is 9-11 level bad.

When it hits near ~3000 casualties... then it can be that bad. I am going on death counter here, not psychological warfare.

Don't get me wrong. I know it is big and wrong... but it could still be worse.

There are. 9-11 is just one that most people would know, no?

Edit: It depends on your definition of terror attacks. If it isn't state sponsored... then 9/11 is the worst terrorist attack in history.
If it is state sponsored... Russia holds that title over a series of time. Up to you to decided if terrorist attacks can be state sponsored or not.

They realize that their temper tantrum wannabe retaliation attacks are only going to piss the French off more? Let alone more of the rest of Europe and NATO. Only means more bombs and missiles aimed at ISISissies.

I guess that's a fair point.

Guess the Syrians and all the refugees can kiss their claims goodbye. Taking in those coming from ISIS controlled areas is not going to be a popular choice now. I'd also expect the US to decrease their pledged amount of middle eastern refugees based on this as well. Most governments are reactionary, not proactionary.

All in all, I'm sad to see this happen to France, as I would be sad to see this happen to any country. The US stands with you with your ongoing fight against terrorism, and I'm sure any one of the women and men in blue would be willing to aide you should France need help in the aftermath.

This is really bad for the good hearted refugees. I know many of them are suffering even in their own homes, these extremists just make things worse for the innocent.

The whole middle east is in chaos and they want to bring the whole world down with them. Sadly, incidents like this one makes me say "no refugees allowed" and be afraid of every "Muslim " even if it sounds stupid and I know there are good refugees and good Muslims out there but I am not taking chances, no matter how much it hurts. :/

My condolences to France and the families affected.

Again, don't jump to conclusions until we know for sure who's responsible.

And now I am afraid of the stupid overreactions of politics again.
The chance of a terrorist killing you or me is probably lower than the chance of getting hit by lightning. Yet you and me have to fear the consequences of these attacks, as our state(s) break down freedom rights more and more or do all the other really bad things politicians have come up with as reactions to these kind of attack.

yuummmmy realize the chance you're taking in that scenario is one in millions. You should be more afraid of getting hit by a car when you cross the street. You still do that a lot I suspect ;)

Actually I'd argue if people do not help the millions of refugees then stuff will get much more worse. Who is most likely to go insane and become a terrorist? An innocent victim of war and chaos that is not given any help from anybody. Refusing to help refugees increase the number of people who're in a hopeless situation and thus increases the number of people willing to join terrorist organizations. More terrorists more risk for you.
