HI, I just got a form letter with suggestions including open DNS (which I have done) NONE of that is the problem. I already removed all firefox addons and reinstalled flash . This is the first time I ever had a problem on CR, The other computer in the house is the same and it just started about 36 hours ago, Im not having any problem on any other site.

Site loads like normal
When im not logged in -commercial plays just fine and then blank.
When I am logged in - one scene from the anime flashes (like always before a pause) like it wants to play but then just northing...black. I think the problem is on your end . Ive done absolutely everything including trying chrome browser, removed addons , uninstalled and reinstalled flash, reset router to defaults and everything including cache clean
ping is 40 on 1 site, 164 on another
download speed 55 mbps
upload 2.84 mbps

Saturday I have no window at all in firefox,just a blank screen (white space) where the vid should be. I uninstalled and and reinstalled firefox (and flash again)-no diff. I can get a stream in chrome but takes 8 to 10 minutes to load. what's going on?

Thanks, It's nice someone answered. , im on linux;. It actually came back on monday after 2=3 days off. No message from support. and Now,(wednesday) tonight it just stopped AGAIN on both computers in the house.

CR SUPPORT IS ABSOLUTE SHIT. DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH THEM. YOU WANT SOMETHING DONE, GO TO THEIR FACEBOOK AND COMPLAIN THERE. I find that wherever problem I was having, get fucking notice after going into their Facebook to bitch about it.

The issue is that you keep creating separate tickets (like 10 already). That's why you keep getting the same answers from various of our customer service staff. Just stick to one of the tickets, so you can get one dedicated person to look into your issue.


I merged all of your tickets into a single one now. Now just wait for a reply, and just reply to the emails you get from our support, rather than creating new tickets.

Yes, I sent 9 tickets over a period of about a week and have been nothing but cordial about it.. I figured that they would merge anyway being from the same account. I sent them as the problem changed (first a black screen ,then a white screen then came back on for 2 days and then went back off and is now on again) I was trying to give your support the most up to date information. The messages CR sent also say "Let me know how this works for you!" I doesn't say exactly how or ' don’t send any more tickets'

I have also spent my share of time on this doing everything on the 'sticky' titled "What's going on with my Computer!?!" so I can totally sympathise with the work you do.
THANK YOU for merging the tickets and working on the problem. It's working just fine today and I hope you can figure out what is happening so it doesn't go off again. I will be standing by as you asked and if it goes off again I will inform CR by replying to the last message sent to me.

Hopefully that doesn’t happen but who knows.

I'm not overly familiar with video issues beyond the basic troubleshooting, otherwise I'd be able to help you myself. I'm more familiar with the apps, store, accounts, and membership issues, because those are more frequent in the country that I'm responsible for.

I think the replies have a note directing users to "reply above the line", if I'm not mistaken. If you reply straight to one of those emails, your reply is appended to the same ticket. Having all the information across several tickets does get quite confusing at times, and may be overlooked easily.

I haven't read all the tickets, but your issue sounds like a software issue. Flash, Ad-Blockers, No Script Add-ons, graphics drivers, for example. Or maybe a local or ISP-side network issue preventing a proper flow of data between the player and the CDN, resulting in a choked connection to the CDN, ads or metrics servers.

Its OFF again in firefox and I havent even closed the tab since I used it.
This is starting to get really frustrating and as I said in the tickets (which you seem to be aware of) theres no ad blockers or anything .
WHY is the AD playing and not the anime?

Overnight I did a new install of my OS, U15.04 32 and immediately went to CR and itys the same . Ad plays unless I l;og in and once I log in one sec of the vid flashes like it wants to load and then nothing, just black. Strangely this worked on Wednesday. Today marks 9 days since this problem.
theres just a black screen.

just my thought but I think the server is rejecting my request. maybe a security setting at CR end. Can you see the logs?

Since the AD will play (when im not logged in) to me it looks like some kind of DRM problem ? IDK

Kinda glad I am not the only person with this problem. This problem started the first week of Dec, a few weeks after videos stopped shuddering at anything over SD. Glad it happened in the last month of my subscription so I could cancel it till it starts working again.

I tried everything but reinstalling OS which is Windows 7. So I try every few days to see if it starts working again.

I feel for you. Try using chrome(if you haven't) because firefox times out.

Almost 4 months and still not fixed. 3 to 6 minutes to load any video on desktop or laptop. And the problem literally started overnight without me changing anything.The Tech support worked with me but still no go. I am LITERALLY waiting and still paying. Tried chrome and IE. Has to between server and PC.

Did not find anywhere else as good as Crunchyroll, but a month ago some videos started working. One piece had 2 sets of episodes (old, and new HD), when one did not work, I switch to the other and usually one of them worked. Last episode of The testament of Sister new devil:burst I waited a few weeks before it would play. I had seen a few episodes of one piece that took 10 seconds to start, which was odd.

Working better then it had a few months ago.
