RIP. That is some good and quick thinking. He probably would not have survived if he was to run. Ah, there might have been the alternative which is to grab someone else and throw them at the suicide bomber to bury him while he escapes with minor injuries

the government should pay his wife and family for the rest of their lives some kind of support or aid. When you literally give up your life for 100s of people, the ones you leave behind deserve to get some kind of benefit.
