Depends on the rule. If they're making sexual advances or something, I'd report them.

In primary school we used to have a rule of "If you don't tell then I'll tell." I'd use this as a warning not to do it again.

I say it depends. In reality we all "break the rules" given to us by management. Even management breaks the rules as well. If the co-worker was harassing, such as bullying, sexual, verbal, etc. Definitely. I would also document it so management does not "look" the other way. If the co-worker takes a longer lunch break on occasion than no.

First thing is to try and dissociate, and let them get their asses in trouble. Usually. A few things that I know is essentially "the worst things to do," and I'll spill real quick. Most of the time, I'll save what I may see for afterwork chat. I do work in the construction and electrical field. Breaking rules may kill people.

Depends.

If what they're doing doesn't affect me in any way, then I ignore it.

Nothing to do with me. Unless it's harassment or something disturbing , then I'd do something.
