It really depends.

Sometimes I debate for sport, it can be fun to shut down a bigoted opinion. Other times I debate to absorb knowledge and opinions from other individuals, helping to round out my opinion on a matter.

The latter can usually go to completion, the prior however, usually ends up with either the person leaving, or someone going off their rocker and getting topic locked/banned.

Based on the definitions of prejudice and sexism, I think that car insurance rates are not sexist, based on the fact that there is grounded statistical analysis confirming that teenage males are more likely to get into car accidents. This may indirectly be related to the fact that they are male, but it is not pretentious. I do not think that there is prejudice involved, because there is thought and reason applied to this discrimination.

There's also statistical facts for women using welfare more often than men, yet they still get paid as much.

Don't forget all men have to sign up for the draft then possibly die in some shithole in the middle of no where while women are exempt.

Yep, it's only sexist if its against a female. health insurance, car insurance, biased court laws, and primary aggressor laws? Yep, equality people.

Equality apparently means Female >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Male.

Since you've provided a specific example that I can focus on, I will say that in regards to this specific situation, it's best to go with the conventional wisdom. Unless there is more research that will further pin point what exactly makes someone more accident prone, your logic provides no wisdom.
