To be fashionable! Nah...in all seriousness, I just wear them because I have to. I'm sure people don't wanna see me flaunting my body everywhere. Though some might

I don't care I'll take my shirt off anywhere and I'll even bellyroll and if you don't like it kiss my ass because I'm fat and happy to be it.

Shirts are practical as well as ornamental.

I'm honestly more confused with guys who wear shorts all year long. Like, this is Seattle. They'll be wearing a sweater/fleece and a jacket on top and then cargo shorts on the bottom in the middle of January. I even saw people in Madison, WI rocking this ensemble when it was well below 0. Y U do dis?!?!?

And man-nips are awesome!

I know what you mean. Before he retired, one of my coworkers wore shorts, Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops to work year-round and I live within spitting distance of Canada.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure why HR let him dress so casually and not the rest of us... seriously, was he the anthropomorphization of casual Friday or something?

because the world would collapse from the epic-ness of my upper torso, or something like that, nothing to do with the fear of being a social outcast ready to be ridiculed by everyone at all. (Also, I'm not anywhere near a chav, and they are the ones who tend to go around half naked)

To stop my nipples from snapping off in the cold.

Many years ago for some reason I was shirtless in really cold weather, something snagged my right nipple and ripped it half off.

(Neither of these people are me)
