I'm not talking like, "Oh I want you to do this for me because I have broken legs and can't do it myself" crutch. I'm talking these disabled people who use their predicament as an excuse to be a bitch and what not and tell you you can't hit them or do anything else because of the "Things I'm going through."

I personally dislike anyone who tries to play those type of cards.

Yeah, so? I dislike it too. I don't know what to discuss though. Nearly everyone I know believes in self determination.

Just wondering what everyone else thought about it, I know a lot of people who say the "Deserve to do it" so I thought I'd try to get others' thoughts on it.

No one in the right mind believes this situation is just, however a lot believe this isn't the situation at all and that they can't help it.

You'd be surprised, but yeah, it might be true that in certain situations it can't be helped, but there's also a lot of times where you can it's intentional and they chose to go through it.

I think a lot of the time it can be helped and probably isn't anything that big of a deal, unless its like an actually severe mental disability, but people just give up and accept it as there identity attach to it and place the blame on whatever it is in order to get out of situations they don't like.

Isn't that right, legion of angsty anime, manga, movie, etc. characters?

In all honesty, the few who pull that shit tend to get on my nerves. I'm specifically referring to those who use their issues to help try and manipulate people.

It depends on the disability and person. Most people that I've met are very positive about theor disabilities, and if anything, would just like their fellow man to be more understanding of their problems. I've yet to have someone yell at me in a store and demand that I help them. And I often do help people who I see are having mobility issues and things of that nature. I ask them if they'd like some help first, though, because there are some people that are determined to do it themselves. There are also people who prey on disabled people, and then hit them up for money afterwards. I offer to help and I'm ok if they don't want it.

You'd be surprised. If you'd shake my family tree, quite a few like that would tumble down.

I'd like to believe that you don't know what a person is going through to be acting like that, but that often isn't the case. When a person, or a disabled person, is taking their anger and pain out on you that just isn't right. There's a right and wrong way to do everything, and sometimes people don't know how to express themselves in a positive manner and use their disability most definitely as an excuse as to why they are acting like they are acting. I've known people to do this, and in my family at that.. I just wish they would apologize for their actions and move on.

I'm a person with a mental disability and a whole lot of medical problems, but I pick myself up and move forward. I am a IT Specialist and I am quite good at the position. Many people cannot do what I do, but last week I was just in the hospital because of one of my medical conditions. They had to pump my stomach and bowels out through my nose. I know that sounds disgusting but it is how they deal with one of my conditions when it gets bad. I look at it this way. Shit happens and move on with your life. Both of my conditions can kill me quite quick. Funny thing is my mental disability, which is not as bad anymore because of my other conditions being treated, is not what puts me in the hospital and is not what could kill me. It is only what makes it harder for me to hold down a job over extended periods of time. I do not expect anything from anybody but I get everything in return. Actually I try to show my gratitude for the help I am getting by helping others that have problems and I am not talking about only people with disabilities. If I die tomorrow, then I can die with a smile on my face and that is how I want to go out. In all reality I feel I put too much of a burden on society because of how much my treatment costs. I have in the past felt like ending it all, however that is too easy and that would not be what everybody would want and that deep down is not what I want. How could I pay back my debt? My answer is to move forward, treat others with respect, and get stronger. This is something we can all follow. Live life to the fullest when we have the chance to, since our light can flicker out quite quick.

So I say cheers and happy anime watching to you all.

Anybody know of a good new anime that is like Naruto or Bleach and that is funny?

Nah you can beat me shitless for all I care. I deserve it for being a worthless fuck. Depression and anxiety are shitty excuses for being a complete failure in life and being such a parasite that I should just be killed.
