This seasons has been a lot better better then summer where i had to drop everything but 5 animes. Guess I have opposite taste of Bobland.

I’ve picked up Kagewani based of a few recommendations by this thread and have been pleasantly surprised by how good it is.

So my ranking for the hidden gems.
1. Concrete Revolutio
2. World Trigger
3. Osomatsu-san
4. Kaaewani
5. Brave Beats

Sadly i don't think i really had any hidden gems other then Concrete Revolutio. Everything else that i'm watching this season is something i saw earlier and was interested in (kagewani) or heard was good and started watching. (chivalry of a failed knight)

The only shows i dropped were asterisk war and aria the double ammo.

Magical Somera-chan 3 minutes pure insanity.

and Kagewani very unquie art style and good horror stories.

Dropped Beautiful Bones just coudn't get really into it. Looks great thought.

I almost dropped Beautiful Bones but I've really started to enjoy that one. I don't know if it's for everyone but the last few episodes decided it for me and I'll be tuning in if they do a season 2.

Owarimonogatari was great.
The Perfect Insider - I really enjoyed it but by the end I don't know if it was bad or great (as in way over my head great) I'm still scratching my head on that one.
Beautiful Bones - really grew on me as it went on. I made myself watch it for a while and I'm glad I did. Really enjoyed the last few episodes. I hope it continues because things are getting interesting.

I don't get why everyone is saying Chivalry of a Failed Knight is that good... it is your typical Ecchi, Harem, OP Protagonist LN adaptation in my opinion which always get more love then they usually deserve. I understand that it may be what people like but it isn't really a gem at this point due to the fact that it is a process which has been used almost every season, bcause people always like them. It is kind of a requirement at this point. Next season's version of this is Undefeated Bahumat Chronicle...

Ossomatsu-san is a delight. Did not expect to be laughing my ass off...nor get the references.

Perfect Insider kept me riveted, despite it's BLAH ending.

Sakurako was good though the ending was BLAH too.

One Punch Man needs a second season ASAP.

Another vote for Kagewani from me - it's obviously made by a small crew with very limited resources, which makes it all the more impressive that how they were able to turn those limitations around and make something this exciting and eerie. I've never heard anyone say they dislike Kagewani - either you love it or you never even noticed it was there, which makes for a true hidden gem.

Osomatsu-san I'd more classify as a surprise hit than a hidden gem - nobody (in the west) paid any attention to it before the first episode (RIP), after which it became one of the more popular shows of the season. Concrete Revolutio is more of a sleeper hit than a hidden gem in my opinion - it was hyped before the season started but had a confusing first episode that turned a lot of people off. Lately it's become better and better, so many people are giving it a second chance, but it's not that they didn't know about it to begin with.

TL;DR, Kagewani is my pick.

I dropped Young Black Jack and Beautiful Bones right away, Comet Lucifer after three episodes and finally, after giving it chance after chance to get better, I dropped Utawarerumono The False Faces at the half-way point.

Osomatsu-san and Perfect Insider.

I would also say Owarimonogatari but that's sort of well known so...
