I'm looking forward to being at home, in the zone, and alone. ~(=w=")~
Sadly, this is an everyday thing for me no matter the season.

I like winter because the grass doesn't grow so I don't have to mow it ^_^.

Where I live everyone has already gone Christmas crazy. All the shops are filled with lots of Christmassy items.

Another thing I associate with Winter though is poor internet connection. Every single year the wintery weather keeps making the wifi cut out, no matter how many "improvements" my broadband company insist they're working on.

I mostly look forward to the cooler weather and Christmas music.

I'm always happier during the winter. I like wearing nice, warm jackets and walking under a gray sky. Not sure how well that will go with El Niño though.

The holidays are nice too. I spend Christmas Eve and New Years Eve with a close friend and his family. He gets really excited for Christmas throughout the year and it rubs off on me haha.

On Christmas day, my sister and other family come over to celebrate and on New Years day, my parents, my sister, and I visit the Japanese side of our family.

When I read the title of the thread, I thought the dragons finally arrived. Bumper!

Colorado has snow and right now it started again. So winter to me besides the positives like, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, drinking hot chocolate, and gluhwein. You are dealing with first time snow drivers and people who think 4x4 means invincibility. This is what driving was on Tuesday.

Hmmm, winter scenery is always the best. The way the ice refracts light along a trees branches is a really beautiful sight. It makes for a good, quiet walk home from school. Also with winter comes my birthday so that's always fun (Dec 23, what a fun time for a birthday xD). Spending time with family at Christmas is always nice too.

And I'll be honest, I find winter clothing much more of an eye candy than cooler clothing. Especially scarfs, scarfs are awesome

Also fun little fact: as snow builds up on the ground it creates little pockets between each flake that absorbs sound making winter the quietest season.

It's cold, ice everywhere so I have to carry spikes for my shoes in case it gets too slippery.

The potential for snow-days has to be one of my favorite parts of winter. If it snows in, I can spend the day lazing about and watching anime. If not though, I have to trudge through snow in despair on my way to school. Celebrating Christmas is also rather enjoyable -- even if the date is wrong, historically speaking.

Overall, winter is my favorite season. It's perfect for a shut-in such as myself.

...Plus, the weather gives me an excuse to drink some hot chocolate.

Winter is just beginning to hit hard now after an unseasonable warm November. I'm looking forward to Christmas and hopefully some snow, even though it's a bitch to drive in it. I'd love to snowboard, but not many facilities to do it over here, we usually don't get enough snow .
