Would you date somebody with a disability or multiple disabilities?

Wouldn't that depend in the severity of the mental illness ?

Why not?

I mean, if a girl did violent things and said its because a voice told her to, I wouldn't try to associate with her. Other than that, I don't see why I would reject someone just because of a disability.

definitely.

not doing so just because they have a disability is disgusting people with disabilities are no less of people then those without.

I have multiple disabilities and i would definitely date someone with a disability if i love them.

I have mental disabilities myself

Is it bad that i would probably be there for them the best that i could and be there friend even though they are violent and do dangerous things?

Dating someone who is disabled is much harder than many people realize, especially if you have to act as a caretaker even if only on occasion. If you have to work full time, then come home and do all of the house work not just your share of it, and make sure doctor appointments are made, medicine taken, etc... it can be a real drain. I attribute my gray hairs to "hell weeks" that I would occasionally have to deal with, getting about 2-3 hours of sleep a night helping my ex deal with issues.

I've done it, would do it again probably (depends on the disability) but I would be lying if I said I look for disabled people to date.

I think the question is would a girl with disabilities even want to date me?

I mean she's still a girl after all and it's starting to become obvious that every girl has a boyfriend now'days so if a guy don't have a girlfriend by now, then like...too bad.

but if I had the chance, yeah, I would.

it kinda depends on the disability.

And I know for a fact that being an asshole isn't a disability.

I'm not aware of any IQ consent laws, and I think you mean learning disabilities. There's a great deal of mental disabilities that wouldn't be able to prevent one from consent.. The laws are generally vague, such as "needs to reason for themselves" which a great deal of people with mild retardation or mental disabilities can do...I mean most fall in the 60-70 range. I mean, just because they have a lower learning rate, can't mean they are not capable of passing a basic sex ed course I believe. It's their physical features I'd be more worried about. Most I find to be on the unattractive side.

I imagine it would be alot easier if you have suffered from a disability yourself i mean i could easily do alot of things now most people would find hard just because of my disability and learning from life with it.

You know, I had a fantasy about Emi (No legs from Katawa Shoujo). I was with her when my inner onii chan came about me, and I struggled to cuddle with her as she ran away, saying "no onii chan, not here!" She didn't have her prosthetics, so it was her cute little stumps flailing in the air, and I was like "how adorables! I must huggles you right away!" and everyone lived happily ever after.

That being said you could easily fall in the 60-70 range and be super knowledgeable about consent etc.

I mean savants are a thing... IQ isn't the best reading of intelligence all the time.

I've definitely dated those with mental disabilities, that's for sure.

If it's a severe mental disorder, no. Other things, maybe just depends.
