Humanity will slowly shed the shackles of religion. The human race is ever evolving and as we evolve base intelligence will increase and less and less people will need the quick pill that is religion. Islam isn't the only problem they are all equally shit Islam just has the misfortune of being practiced in poor, uneducated countries.

Problem is it's the peace-loving ones that end up having extremists who cause trouble for humanity.

So Muslims aren't apart of this "everyone" correct?

Because decreasing Islam is essentially taking away the identity of a Muslim and that doesn't seem like it would be very good for them.

The faith of Islam doesn't need to decrease; faith is what brings the world together. What I think needs to happen is a reformation of the Islamic faith, just like what happened in Europe, when the Catholic church evolved, even though a lot of countries sought reform and turned Protestant or reformed Catholic. I believe Islam has not evolved, unlike Christianity has over the years

DYK: Catholicism is the most worshiped religion in the world, and the largest giver of medical aid and education across the world.

its sad how people still link muslim people to ISIS. muslims are dying left and right because of them and you still think they have any connection with them? its like saying the KKK was killing off white people too. you just don't kill off your kind, so the arrogance of some of y'all is pitiful. and little does anyone know that theres middle eastern countries with over 40% of the population being christian. also being more technologically advanced and have more freedoms then America. America isn't free. Also i would like someone to get the ranking of america in its education system comparing to some countries over sees.

It's worth noting that it's best for people not to spread these videos because it is were inspiration is drawn from. The problem with the world is this problem with followers, because that is ultimately the audience the extremists go stand for, not their Gods. I wish like how the FBI put a lid on some CCTV footage showing someone shooting up a school, there was a way to deny videos from spreading in order to deny them the audience they crave.

By peace-loving religions, I was talking about Taoism and Buddhism. There might have been extreme deviations that caused harm, but I haven't heard of them. Christianity (and all its branches) and Islam are infamous for taking the lives of millions.

No, common sense brings the world together. Faith is what you must resort to when you lack the capacity to fully understand something.

lol @ faith bringing the world together when religion has caused more conflict than anything else in the world. Well, maybe money, power and greed but they sort of go hand in hand..

Any form of extremism is bad, not limited to Islam.

Every religion had their collection of extremists. Jesus Camp stuff is more towards the psychological area. Those guys are absolutely nuts and I honestly wish they were barred from voting.

Though the one thing that Jesus Camp taught me was the Nestlé water is holy water.

Yes I can't see every muslism as a potential ISIS member or terrorist... since ISIS is just a small part anyway..

Is Aetheists ruled the world across our history then the world would have a happier place... now religion is like a disease we will never fully cure ourselves of... not now, not ever.

Sure most preach peace but you dont have to follow no religion to wish no harm on others.

About why this religion decrease.
at some point since muslim culture an values are expanding leaving the young from such culture in more danger of exp, to job, to do anything leading to terror, let it out on others.

So where I want to go to is that its bad for everyone.
They don't respect others country, grouping up, don't get any education, much less chance of any jobs.
fed up with how to threat others and these values + human life, what girls should do, what the goverment should do and demands very HIGH demands.

It's not the religion itself that's the problem but the fanatical followers. It's why we had the Witch Hunts and the Crusades in the past. It's up to the Churches to realize when some of their followers are going overboard but these days too many religious men don't even take the time to know/learn about their own parishioners in any and all religions.

true they shall have the right to belive, but still having an religion (and this one with such views that would take a long time to become modern as those before the muslims living here to the more ISIS supportive groupes around now)

Religion can be good and bad,
but it will allways have those who will take it too far for it.

Without you can try to think for yourself and learn by other things,
insted of being corrupted by others either a groupe, religion, etc.

What an religion do is coming back what they have in common,
a similar goal, faith that will adjust to those around you.
