This morning I noticed the calendar (http://www.crunchyroll.com/simulcastcalendar) changed to a different format that shows only free shows OR premium episodes. the new calendar overall looks good.

However, I like to see both free and premium episodes on one calendar like the old format did. Please make this an option.... or even better give the option to use the old calendar format.

thanks for reading

But why? You can't be both peasant & premium. Makes 0 sense to show both on the same calendar.

I can think of one reason, although I'm not sure how significant this is, just a minor inconvenience perhaps...

On the Premium calendar, search for the next time (or what day) the next Fafner will air. It's not there.

Just using Fafner for a pertinent example (at the original time of this post), the specific shows that fall into this hole will vary by show and day of appearance.

If all I wanted to know was what day that particular show comes out, (kind of the whole point of a release calendar) I would have to go to the "free" display and search again to find it under Friday. The point being that not all current simulcast shows are going to appear under the premium schedule.

I don't use the calendar much (I arrange my queue by simulcast day and time and that suits my purposes), but I did always hate how crowded it got with both the free and premium on it all at once. Possibly one of the reasons I never really started using it--cluttered looking and more info than I usually needed.

A simple "what day of the week does this show 'air' on CR" (as opposed to what exact date is a specific episode 'airing" on CR) view might be a nice addition--like what Funi does. There is such a list in Site News (/forumtopic-926703/fall-2015-roundup) but that sinks down over time and is more an announcement than a reference. So maybe another "calendar" tab for that would be helpful? E.g.

Mondays
3:30am - Ace of the Diamond Second Season
5:25am - Bottom Biting Bug 4
10:30am - Teekyu 6
10:35am - JK-MESHI!
10:40am - Anime De Training! Ex
10:45am - Mr. Osomatsu
11:15am - YuruYuri Season 3

Tuesdays
3:30am - Ultraman X
4:30am - Shin Atashinchi
10:45am - DD Fist of the North Star II + Fist of the North Star: Strawberry Flavor
12:00pm - Durarara!! X2 The Second Arc (Dub)

etc.

The calendar is good for spotting if a week is getting skipped I guess, but given how late some of that info gets up there, thus how often it can look like there's going to be a skipped week, I'm not sure how well it serves that purpose.

Or maybe even something simple, like someone could "sticky" that thread, and then when the season is over, "un"sticky it in favor of the next one... I suppose you aren't allowed to touch the "official" threads in site news though, but still, just adding a sticky isn't really altering it.
