I've never once believed that we were innocent until proven guilty. I'd like to think that the people who introduced that concept had honest intentions but, it's quite obvious today that the people above would disagree with it.

The media makes everyone guilty and even invents rumors for better ratings. The courts tend to be a lot fairer.

People are getting pissed at the media for lying to them all the time. Heck CNN can't even get 1million people to watch during primetime anymore.

sounds like the problems the white professor, at the University of Kansas, is having. If you just read the headline "University of Kansas professor suspended for using N-word" most stupid people would stop there and claim guilty. But, for the rest of us, we would read a little more of the article and see what she really said. "that she personally, has never seen the word nigger spray painted on any walls at the university."

I find the main issue here is that newcomers to the internet tend to act as they would in real life. The process of assimilating to the online world is an extremely complicated thing, its a whole different society no matter where you are coming from. Then there's the groups that thrive on this kind of "entertainment" (is what I'm going to call it), bored people, lonely people, activists, enthusiasts, and millions upon millions who are heavily manipulated by propaganda in many forms.

There's no rules in this free society online and I think everyone wants try to create rules that people have to abide by. I guess you could call it an attempt by individuals to establish hierarchy in a non-existent world.

Maybe in the US and England, I don't feel like it's the same for rest of the world. Things seem saner here.

It's always guilty until proven innocent. Makes it tough when you have to play devil's advocate and essentially remind people that it's the other way around. That's personally why I never liked jury duty.

It way more fun to blindly attack someone than it is too look at facts and make educated decisions.

No if you are the 1% its entirely irrelevant whether you are guilty or innocent, because money will set you free.

To the System, the 1% is always innocent and not a target for enforcement

Probably because they control so much, they could plunge the world into a depression, and it would not affect them much.

Or China. Their legal system is much harsher that here in the U.S. There's a reason why we only rank second in executions.
