Cocoa and the gang are at it again! At what, exactly, you ask? Well, I'm not sure we ever figured that out from the first season. Lots of latte art, perhaps? Cocoa has come to study abroad in an unnamed, very European-looking town that seems to be overrun with semi-feral rabbits. She boards with the family who operate the coffeehouse/bar known as Rabbit House, and begins working there as payment for food and lodging--and for the opportunity to be around Chino, the current owner's young granddaughter. Cocoa, it seems, has a very specialized type of big sister complex: she desperately wants to be one! One other girl, Rize, works at Rabbit House and tries to blunt the worst of Cocoa's sisterly intrusions. These three, along with their friends, happily encourage and support one another through various crises of unimaginably cute proportions.

What's that? You say that sounds just like season 1? Well, you're right! Season 2 is a continuation of those very things that turned viewers into fans last time. In this second season, Cocoa has been at Rabbit House for a year. She has grown more skilled with her duties and closer to the family hosting her. In fact, she's become so well-integrated that the storylines can now shift more to other characters. One particularly noticeable difference resulting from this shift of focus is that Chino's friends (and classmates) Megumi and Maya are getting much more screen time this season! Of course, this development gives Cocoa--at least in her mind--three times as many opportunities to insert herself as resident onee-chan. Meanwhile, the more childlike concerns of these younger characters just blow the roof off the cuteness quotient! Even the normally unassailable Rize can't help but melt like butter around these three. . .

I've loved this series since Cocoa first arrived at Rabbit House! It's sweet, fun, and uplifting, with simple storylines, adorable characters, and warm and comforting artwork. Just what I need to offset a day in the real world! I've found my happy place, and it's right here.

If that's not a 10 in your book, you should throw away said book.

This season's closing is the new standard for Loli factor. Period.

I loved season 1 and so far season 2 has been a blast. A nice and relaxing anime to watch after coming home from work much like Non Non Biyori and Kiniro Mosaic.
