90% sure its just troll but just in case...
Wait, what in the world did you just say? I think your saying if you use both AMD and Nvidia cards with DX12 you will get better results.
If this is what you are saying... I got news, you can't do crossfire/SLI with a AMD and Nvidia you can crossfire with 2 AMD's and you can SLI with 2 Nvidia's but you cant have both.

Also, no I do not use Linux often. Sometimes I will but not very often. I like how it works but I'm just so used to Windows now it would take a while to switch over.

You can run DirectX on Linux's WINE.

Yup. Linux is about freedom not restrictions.

I used to think that too. Ubuntu's interface drove me nuts... Then I found mint:

Works like windows but runs as a linux. Best of both worlds. Even got full drive encryption running and it's still faster than my highly optimized windows 7 HDD

I used Linux Mint, Slackware and even Arch Linux, but Ubuntu with KDE is perfect for my MSI laptop. MSI seems to be a very good brand of computers like the GX610-100 that I currently have and when I get one of the new ones, I'll be sure to install Ubuntu. KDE ftw! best desktop environment or GUI ever and it makes a Unix-like OS look just like a modern OS.

I use Debian on my laptops and Windows on my desktops. Also, I'm a pretty heavy Cygwin user.

IMO, neither Wine nor dual boot are worth the effort.

I've messed with linux on a desktop numerous times, but never really went completely over due to the lack of games and other multimedia software. Getting closer to doing so due to the way companies seem to want to grab their users' personal information these days, though. It's infuriating since Microsoft seemed to be getting everything else right lately... I was actually looking forward to Windows 10 a little, and I'd *never* looked forward to a new Windows release.

Outside of that, my job has me writing programs on, and running them on, linux systems. I'm hoping SteamOS takes off without turning into some walled garden that takes advantage of linux while giving nothing in return. Linux with games, music software and the like? Sign me up.
