Now that the year is coming to a close, which series had the greatest impact on you for 2015? It could be a brand new one, an older one that surprised you in any way, anything really! Let everyone know which you chose and why

its a tie between One Punch Man and Food Wars! for me. Both are very different and new ideas to anime, both have beautiful animation and interesting and intriguing storylines.

Hibike! Euphonium for me. I honestly don't think it did a thing wrong. Anime from Kyoto Ani always have great visual appeal but Hibike was extraordinarily beautiful. It made me care about the characters; and it had excellent buildup, especially towards the end of the series. The last episode managed to elicit so many emotions in me that I don't think it will be matched for a while.

Death Parade

Hit me in the motherfuckin' feels.

Honorable mention: Yona of the Dawn

She and Shirayuki were the best female MCs in a long, long while.

I don't have a very high opinion of 2015, but Punch Line is definitely my favorite. Once the show got rolling, it completely betrayed my first impression and ultimately delivered a surprisingly intricate plot with a fairly unorthodox ending.

I keep hearing so much about One Punch Man, on websites, my friends in school. I will definitely need to start it this weekend! Maybe after work tomorrow
