For any forumers who read American comics, is there anything like Black Lagoon or Gunsmith Cats out there?
Something with a female gun-toting lead preferably in some kind of pulp crime setting.

Need something to read while I sit around waiting for the mangas I like to get updated...

You may want to look into titles by Dynamite comics, Moonstone Comics and IDW. Dynamite has a digital bundle on sale this week at Groupees (The Women of Dynamite Bundle) including 69 comics for a total of $10. Dynamite has a bunch of other strong female characters as well. It's well worth it and has a lot of fan faves in it. Moonstone has Honey West, Domino Lady and Lady Action. IDW has Danger Girl (as well as A Danger Girl/Army of Darkness cross-over mini-series at Dynamite comics) and Fistful of Blood. David Campiti and Al Rio (God rest his soul) had a great series called exposure that's been collected and can be found at http://exposure.keenspot.com/ . It's like Charlie's Angels meets the X-Files and well worth checking out.

If you're looking for trade paperback series as well I'd suggest the Earlier Danger Girls series from Image Comics, Wynonna Earp from Image and Ghost from Dark Horse. They're some of my all-time favorites. Kevin Smith's Green Hornet at Dynamite also co-starred a female Kato who was spun off into her own mini-series. It's also recommended. Finally Manhunter and Chase at DC delivered pretty much the feel of what you're looking for.

Yvw :D, anytime . The Groupees Dynamite bundle only has 3 days to go and is well worth it honestly if you do digital comics. They even give you $1 digital coin to use on your next purchase from the site with it and the complete set is entirely heroines.
