Twice a year mostly. Once a year if lucky

I can't remember ever having been sick.

I used to get a nose cold quite a few times a year, maybe 2-3. Usually in the winter and it would take about 2 weeks to completely get over it.

But after some throat colds a year or so back I don't seem to have had anymore. The nose cold is annoying having to blow my nose every few minutes, but the throat cold is worse because it's physically uncomfortable.

I work at an airport, so..at least once a year. I'll usually get really stupid, petty colds where I just have a scratchy throat and cough a couple of times. Once every couple of years, I'll get some nasty flu that. While the majority of symptoms will be over with in two weeks, I'll have a lingering cough for a good month afterwards. People in Taiwan in China can and do get antibiotics from their local physicians pretty easily and they take them every time they get the sniffles....and that's why the colds and flus of this world have been getting stronger.

But antibiotics shouldn't be given at all for viral infections

Like 2 to 3 times a year for a cold

And I think I've only had the flu 3 times in my life

I've never had the flu.

Had a cold once a very long time ago, but it only lasted a few days IIRC.

I haven't had the full-blown flu in my adult life, but I get a bad cold once or twice a year (much less of an issue now that I work at a place with reasonable sick policies).
