How Do I Pwn Someone On The Forum? Like Intellectually Pwn? Is It A Birth Gift?
Posted 11/29/15
I wish I was intellectually pwning, but my teeth are falling out and I can't remember what day it is, or what time it is, or what year it is, or how old I am, or what my name is. Shit... where am I?

His review of Sonic: Free Riders had me laughing the entire video. It wasn't just a good critique of the game, but it was also rather humorous. It's part of the reason I like Joe. He and other reviewers of a similar nature feel far more personal and entertaining than the alternative. Plus, they're far more trustworthy than major sites like IGN that pocket money from the very companies whose games they review.

Same, I nearly busted a damn rib!

I completely agree. People like AngryJoe are so needed right now with the way the reviewing industry is. Pretty sure most core gamers look for alternatives for reviews nowadays. Hopefully other reviewing sources continue to gain momentum in that manner.

That's how "pwning" on the internet works. You don't need to be right, you just need a mob to agree with you.

Examples? Anita Sarkeesian, Zoe Quinn, Angry Joe, Laci Green, Review Tech USA, that one sexy feminist Asian, etc.

Hey! Angry Joe's a great reviewer. At the very least, his reviews are far more reliable than those of IGN or Kotaku.

His reviews are fine. His biased/misinformed opinions are what's bad. I watch Angry Joe all the time. But whenever he talks mainstream media(GamerGate, anti GamerGame, etc) he turns into a simp mangina because he doesn't know whether is audience is for or against GamerGate, as he said so in his video.

He is a business man, so it's understandable that he wouldn't wanna blast any part of his audience but all he had to do was tell the truth, which he warped to not insult anti GamerGate viewers. I know and understand why he did it.

Doesn't make him any less of a simp mangina.

I think he's commented on those sorts of issues around two times at the most and no more than three. He brought up Anita in his annual Top 10 Controversies List, but he didn't really support or endorse her if I remember correctly. All he really said was that people shouldn't send death threats to her -- which I find to be a rather reasonable thing to say. If anything, the death threats are a part of what brought her into the spotlight. GamerGate too appeared in a Top 10 Controversies List -- the 2014 list, to be specific.

Joe's thoughts on GamerGate were perfectly reasonable, at least as far as I'm concerned. Even back in the olden days when I was a young whippersnapper who supported GamerGate, I wasn't really offended by anything he said. I saw truth in it and now that I've fallen out of the movement it I see even more.

But yeah, I don't know if he commented on the issues more. I don't follow his Twitter feed because I don't use social media. What he's saying is rather reasonable though. I'm not sure why it'd rile either side up beyond, "He didn't agree with me 100%! How dare him."
