My favorite is ponytails :^)

EDIT:

I've made a 2nd poll on female hairstyles about length for people that don't have a favorite on this poll.

You can contribute to it here:

As the song goes, "I don't want none unless you've buns, hun." Slightly different context that still applies.

I don't think there's a name for the hairstyle you're thinking of but I'd call it "messy bangs" since it usually has the bangs with alot of parts of the hair seperated from each other.

My hair used to be like that at some point of life xD

I don't know how to describe it with words or what the type of hairstyle it is called, but I like styles of women that look like this or similar to it!

If there is a name for it, please let me know; i've always been curious about it!

I've already replied to another comment on this style.

I've thought of the name as "messy bangs" but you could also call it "generic anime hairstyle (female)"

This could easily be because Sailor Moon was my first anime, but I've always been drawn to female characters with odangos.

Aizawa Minto made me buy the second volume of Tokyo Mew Mew because she was on the cover, Shampoo got me into Ranma 1/2, and I've always adored Chun-Li from Street Fighter. I'm pretty sure the hairstyle itself is native to China, but it shows up in anime/manga/gaming a lot and I've always been like THAT'S SO COOL BUT SO IMPRACTICAL.
