Just found out.

Well as someone who can't eat many vegetables or fruits since i don't digest them properly and hates the taste of any that i can eat.

I may be switching to cannabilism in this brave new world! (Half joking)

Eating other people is fine, aslong as you dont have anything to do with their death. Oh and also their family/friends dont want the body (say if the person's body was the son of a mother and the mother wanted the body to be burried or burned into ashes.

There is nothing wrong with the consumption of meat . What is wrong is the resources wasted and the pollution created by the over population of live stock raised to satisfy our overwhelming desire for flesh.

^^ He's right is the scary part. There is no actual law forbidding cannibalism. If you can prove in a court of law you obtained the body lawfully ya free to snack to your heart's content.

If you say so..

Maybe, maybe not. How about we adopt more sustainable ways of raising animals, don't think them factory farms are doing anyone really any good other than the people who profit from them.

Au contraire my ecologically-minded friend.

The average cow produces between 100 and 500 liters of methane gas per day, a substance that is 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide in terms of global warming, and there are approximately 1.5 billion of these terrible creatures polluting Earth's atmosphere.

We should all do our part to combat global warming by eating as many of these delicious... I mean, environment polluting creatures as possible.

One man willfully consumed another. After they both severed his manhood and ate it.

What's climate change? I swear I heard somewhere that by 2050 the city of Venice will be underwater because of some really weird event that conspiracy theorists say will happen when the polar ice caps just disappear randomly, but I'm not sure if Al Gore is a credible source.

I'm fine with that; just replace meat with a chocolate sundae.

Nothing bad about climate change in my opinion. What's a few hundred species from the ecosystem going to do? It'll only take a couple hundred years for the niches to fill themselves out, no biggie.

Cows farting is hardly enough of a reason why this rock is supposed to be heating up.

So, by that logic, wiping out the vast herds of buffalo that once blackened the American prairies into near-extinction was a positive bonus for our planet, in the amount of daily methane that was prevented from affecting the greenhouse layer any earlier?

Well, that takes a lot of guilt off my mind--And to think, the Native Americans were angry at us for it!
I'm doing my part for the environment, and eating a cow today!

----
(That's sarcasm, btw.
Generally aimed at the Vegans' attempt to find any broad, sweeping Eco-Fear button that will take the argument off of them, and the oversensitive image of their "Aww, you wouldn't eat this cute lil' squoodgie-woodgie, would you?" to something that will HAMMER insensitive, uncaring mainstream people with good solid guilt and leech onto the higher ratings of the more jealously popular causes real people do care about.

Following on "Cow dung contributes to global warming", they promptly moved on to "Cattle ranching in the prairie states is using up the earth's underground water reservoir!"
Mmm, nooo, that doesn't quite have it yet--I know, how about, "We should ban all cattle/beef production, because cows will spontaneously explode if left in direct sunlight too long!" Now there's a real hum-ding cracker of an Eco-Fear button, I'd get behind that one! )
