Samurai Jack is an old school series I used to casually follow when I was a kid. I think it was kinda refreshing, one of the serious natured cartoons, but nostalgic. I used to even play a few of the games before.

I haven't seen the series in a very long time though but the action was actually pretty entertaining especially in the first few episodes. Idk how I feel about this tbh. I forgot almost everything I've seen except for the main premise. Do we also learn more about Samurai Jack's past? The dark journey he follows?

Well anyways, good for the fans of the series but I'll probably pass on this.

Is this fan made? Looks pretty awesome especially with the thrilling music in the background and Samurai Jack walking like a total boss to show what he is.

Yup, I think only one person did everything. I could be wrong thou. I am kind hoping they use a CG or something more unique with Samurai Jack. Because if I remember correctly, this series tell the story with the background and actions, rather than dialogue.

This is awesome news! I used to love watching Samurai Jack as a kid. I also remember the finale very clearly. The fight scenes were always awesome.

Can't wait to see how this'll turn out!

RWBY's kind of a special case since it's not on a TV network and CR streams it.

I doubt it, but if CR streamed Samurai Jack, what say you then? Huehuehuehue!

Sorry about that, I couldn't resist. Hey, who knows? Maybe luck will descend upon us and CR will get the rights to stream it? They got Digimon for us, why not, eh?

I call dibs on Cory: The Animated Series.

LOL!

If it gets an Anime, I call dibs on Azure Striker Gunvolt or any other Megaman related game that might get an Anime. Shoutout to Stark for this!

Even though I am open to Samurai Jack and enjoyed it in its prime, but I can't ignore that its gonna feel weird seeing an obviously non-anime show airing in an exclusively anime block alongside shows like Attack On Titan and DBZ/SAO/whatever is popular at the time. Granted, it could air as a lead-in to the main block or at the tail end. But still.

Pretty sure Sym-bionic Titan was on AS Toonami at one point.

Samurai Jack used to be played on Toonami with DBZ and the like. I wouldn't mind seeing Toonami go back to being a mix of American cartoons and anime. Imagine if Toonami picked up Young Justice for continuation.

Well this a form of animation right?

Guess that means we can drop a Disney thread in here, too?

Regardless, forget this show bring me back Invader Zim.

Zim is back, just in comic book form not animation. He destroyed the earth with a space goat. Dib tried to stop him but well..... he's Dib

Considering how much Jack draws not just from anime but Japanese theater in general I have no problems with this thread being here.

and yes I am so glad it's back, although sad because they will need to find a new voice for Aku.

Pleasantly surprised by the news! Sad that they'll have to recast the voice of Aku - played by the late great Mako Iwamatsu (also voiced Iroh in Avatar: The Last Airbender). Now if only they'd bring back Teen Titans...
