Alright so I heard this one on the radio this mornin' ago. A woman called in complaining her boyfriend wouldn't have sex with her the last week because she had a sinus infection and he didn't want to catch anything from her. He didn't want to miss work. She felt offended and thought it was because he was losing feelings for her or w.e.

50/50 that called in thought she had a valid reason for concern.

So my question to you all, would you have sex with your partner still even if they were sick? Where do you personally draw the line? Would you be offended if your partner didn't want to have sex with you while you were sick?

Personally I find it silly to not be able to handle 'abstinence' for a short while and get all offended by it. In my opinion, he should break up with her because she's way too eager to throw his ass out over a little bit of sex. I don't think I'd want to have sex when either I or my partner are a sick either.

Some people apparently think this is nuts because: who turns down an offering of sex? Thus they follow with, how could this guy?

I thought this was about disgusting, vulgar, sickening sex. I'm saddened at this turn of events.

I am going to have to support the guy here. Body Health is a subject I take seriously and the lost wages from days taken off from work are no laughing matter either.

Basically dump the hoe, she is bat shit crazy and will go all princess stabby if missing out on a few days of sex makes her this unbalanced.

I was honestly surprised how many supported her on the radio station. Sad but true.

Well I might if they had some weird fetish that involved them being really sick, but I take immune suppressants so that might not be a good idea ¯\_ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡ °) _/¯

Isn't that kind of taking advantage of the sick person if you do that?

Depends on what you're sick with. A sinus infection is typically not contagious (assuming it wasn't accompanied by a cold/flu) so there's not reason not to do it. Stay in school, kids.

As long as it's not a serious disease, I don't mind. I'm not a squeamish person. If she insists on not risking me getting sick, I can accept that as well.

I've made out with sick girls and I've yet to actually catch anything by doing that. I get over colds and stuff very quickly, anyway. A few days of discomfort at most. Worth it.

I never missed a day of school from K to 12, and this is with all my training and daily two-hour hike since I didn't have a ride to get to school after 6th grade. I did this even though I had pneumonia once and didn't see a doctor. Took me nearly two months to heal naturally. If I can do that, I can make it to work.

So disabled people can't have sex? Disability isn't not consent.
