I dont understand why Naruto gets excessive hate. Most of the time Naruto fans self contain themselves and dont go around screwing with other fanbases unless provoked

The minority and the crazies are usually the loudest, so that usually creates an inaccurate bad image for said fanbase.

Just look at the crap that goes on with SAO. Both the extreme fanatics and the extreme haters are very obnoxious.

''tards'' ... it's just funny to me that people are actually using this term.
It's like you have no respect for an anime, even if you don't like it.

I think better of them than I think of people who think the "tard" form of a word is amusing or a useful barb or a fun way to stir people up.

Yeah, if I'd seen this when it first got created I probably would have locked it. No need to try to spread insults and hate. However, I'm just seeing it now and the responses are quite reasonable and genial, so I'll let it stand.

Makes a thread about narutards on a anime forum, a term coined to insult a fan base and spread hate on that fanbase, gets a comment calling him out on being a troll, person making comment gets scolded for spreading insults and hate.

My life story..... just saying I personally don't like the term because it insinuates a lot of negative and hurtful things. So when someone asks what I think of them, that insinuates that I believe that's a proper term that can be applied to a group of people, and I don't believe it can or should be.

I'm pretty sure don't like people who get overly obsessed Naruto, but imho, the ones with a healthy obsession to the series and believe some flaws may exist are alright. Watching or reading Naruto does not necessarily mean that the viewer or reader who is into the series is mentally retarded or has some low IQ by default. I used to love Naruto for a short while, but guess what? my taste in anime or manga is beyond stagnant.

You get my point and everybody is a critic. We all have different points of view about Naruto. Should I be crying because you like it and I don't? hell no!

I'll throw in a three for you.

I'm sure Naruto fans were more annoying in the past but since most of the fans are people who have grown up with it (kind of like Toy Story) it seems like most people have matured out of the angsty "You have to like what I like!" fanboy stage. I'm sure there are still people like that (possibly even a few in this thread) but most of the fans I've seen have been pretty accepting of the fact that it's not gonna be universally liked.

The only time I see people getting bothered is when someone dislikes the show simply because it's popular and personally I think that's justified. If you've tried to watch the show and just genuinely didn't like it then that's fine. If you're just badmouthing it because you hate people liking something you don't like then I think you're probably the obnoxious/childish one.

No farming allowed!

what I find worse or better.

saying that these animes are better because of volience/darkness (gore/freaky/stupid) like some adore AoT because of the dark stuff even though the anime had issues like time jumps etc.

(some would say love live? or what ever that name was, and this is not a ranking)
1) Attack on titan because of gore saying its more adult then the naruto (it maybe true in some areas but naruto do have some really good points that is way more mature then that from attack on titan)
2) Sword Art Online, being one of the best series, while it also has jumped in time just like AoT while with some worse seasons.
3)agemka ga kill, still loving it because of gore etc saying its a real adult anime not like all the other ecchi stuff, while it had a good start it still fucked up big time (still had some good moments else it was going into a meh mode seeing everyone just wasting their lifes for nothing (Berserker did that much much better)
