So I had no problem playing Crunchyroll on my tablet about 1 or 2 months ago. Now suddenly whenever I try to watch something on it I get the pop up that states;

"There was a problem playing the video. Please try again, or contact customer support if the problem persists."

Well I did everything customer support wanted me to do; Clear Data and reinstall didn't work, and changing my DNS didn't work as well. Obviously I figured something had to be wrong with my tablet.

Out of sheer curiosity I decided to play a video while not signed into Crunchyroll and to my surprise every video worked. So I checked all of my info and made sure I can watch everything on this site and nothing had changed.

Any Ideas or help please let me know.

Thank You.

Kind of a random suggestion, but have you set your video preferences for mature titles to be on? Not sure what you're trying to watch, but I know a big issue with the device versions is that they obey that setting, and the fact that you can sign out and see them seems like it could be related. /acct/?action=video

Already have checked it. I always have mature content on. I have no problems watching on my computer or console, just the tablet.

I just had the same issue, would play fine when not logged in on my tablet but would fail when mi was logged in. I changed the video quality from auto to low and it suddenly played fine while logged in. Give that a try and see if it works for you.

I wanted to add that my Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is having the same issue. Not sure what changed with the app since I never used to have problems watching videos. As LordeWolfe suggested, changing quality to low appears to allow the video go play for some reason.
