I like keeping a journal maybe not daily but it's a way to not only vent if I'm upset but also to help me remember really good times. It's fun and scary reading old entries lol some I think 'wow that was awesome' while others I'm like wth was I thinking haha I guess it helps from making the same mistakes over and over or at least it should

I had a phase of keeping a diary after reading every single princess diaries book in middle school. Good times.

I believe in the idea but I won't write one. Mainly because I don't like writing, I'd be too lazy to keep up with it, and I... no that's about it.

I would like to, but I just don't have the patience for it. I really respect people who take the time to keep a daily journal or diary. Plus, you never know, maybe in the distant future it will become an important text giving insight into our current culture!

However, I do keep these things... I don't really know what to call them... Basically, I carry around composition notebooks for whenever I get bored, and in it I write all kinds of things. Sometimes how i'm feeling, or it could be poetry, quotes, notes, musings about random things, Esperanto practice, story ideas - anything, really! It's not a journal because it's not very organized, but I do write in it practically every day, and I have stacks and stacks of composition notebooks filled with this stuff.

It's all hastily written in my atrocious penmanship though - so to anyone else, it's pretty much gibberish lol. But it is utterly fascinating to go back to some of my older books and read some of the stuff i've written. It's like a window into how i was feeling and what I was thinking back then.

I used to want to but nothing interesting goes on in my life for me to be able to write meaningful words down that spans for a couple of years. If I had written a diary it'd probably just be "Watched anime today" or "Some assholes insulted me" or "Dear diary, I'm bored" so nah, it's not really my style.

Nope not at all. I think of it as a waste of time.
