Religion man... when is it going to die out.

Religion will never die as long as there is something we don't know/understand left in the universe, and it isn't necessary for God to be involved in a religion either. Most Atheists I know are far more religious than most of the Christians I know, and the Atheists I know who aren't religious really should identify as agnostic(don't know/care if God exists) and not Atheist(God does not exist).

We shouldn't ban something because of fear of attack, we should ban something because we don't want to offend anyone ala business decision. Wondering whether it is the former or the latter has me angry. No group should use violence to silence things just because it sounds offensive to them.

We shouldn't ban anything outside of behaviors that directly infringe on another human beings free will. Good ideas will stand on their merits and bad ideas will fall by their demerits. Banning things entrenches ideas already commonly accepted, making it hard to replace a bad idea with a good one, or a good one with a better one.

I didn't mean the word ban, I mean censor or edit.

Am I the only one noticing the irony of having an "offensive" song called "push buttons"?

Then again, I guess censoring yourself is bad if it hurts your fanbase.

No, agnostic/gnostic deals with knowledge, whether you know for a fact or not. Theism/Atheism is belief or LACK OF belief. Those claiming to know for certain there is no God, are gnostic atheists, which is ridiculous, but most of the time, those who say they are an atheist are usually an agnostic athiest.

It's things like this that convince them they can win - is Japan a "paper tiger" as well? Here in America "we" use taxpayer money to ridicule Christianity but throw in jail people who make crappy movies about the prophet.

Well, its not like I want a Muslim call to prayer in my anime.

How easily some religional, or more like any Islamistic person gets butthurt over anything is unreal. Sad to see even Japan bends over for them.

Weird, I get offended every time I hear Allah Admiral Ackbar "Its a trap", something about 77 virgin NEET males in the after life(cause the only ones dying are the male bombers), and Infant-Dolls in their shrilling and ear raping voices, let alone words like chicken hen-neckties in Japanese (whole sentence is meant to make me look like an idiot as I try to fit syllables I understand into English).

Must be my imagination, cause I cannot understand the shrill of most languages that are not European, Spanish doesn't bother me but god do I hate Mariachi music, JPOP makes me want to put a buzzsaw into my right ear (subtitled japanse language doesn't bother me, but the cutesy singing is annoying) while Arabic tongues rape the left side (I don't speak anything but English, but say French or German isn't annoying to listen to). Its just how I hear things, some are annoying but tolerable, while others like sleeping in and suddenly a guy is running a lawn mower 10 feet outside your window at 7 in the morning.

All comes down to the Tower of Babbling idiots, if you don't conform to someone else's belief you are in the wrong...to bad Muslims tend in the middle east to be uppity a lot quicker then other people, I honestly don't care if someone insults the Christian religions that I don't believe in, but I would be ranging mad if they insulted

Big Boss Man

And

My religion is kind of wacky, BBM is just a guy hitting on ladies and the cats do most of the real work collecting souls and damning the evil ones . It works like a corporate structure, Basement is kind of annoyed how many Ceiling keeps sending his way while BBM is the president off on a "working" vacation year round

lol found a youtube video in another language in the comments that puts up the words in English letters (romaji) similar to this thread. The lyrics are all Japanese words, that sound like Arabic, but have meaning in Japanese. Its like Engrish reading . Yeah, tower of babbling idiots....OH MY GOD! SOMEONE IS SAYING SOMETHING THAT IS OFFENDING ME! KILL THE BASTARD....In reality, its "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?"

does not mean to be bad and why should we change because of what others think of just a name or what it is even when they said it was not to offend and was not thinking of muslims in a way they could not mean any harm with it.
I would do like did post where they apologize for their customers and say it was for no harm and this is how it is then it was and are going to be like this.

its like saying I want to change the name of the character just because even if the name has an importance in story etc (real person?)
But yes if it was easy to change and the author didn't really care to change it (as it didn't seem that big of an deal then fine)
while didn't impact the story (or improve ones ideas for a better way of the story as sometimes there is other ways to get what you want and the others want in the same deal) change anything drastic out of what it once was.

Just to give some context, the reason why some Muslims might not be happy about hearing a call to prayer in a song is because they are required to turn off and not listen to any music while the call to prayer is happening.

I'm very much for freedom of expression and am not a fan of religion, but I don't want peoples' values or beliefs to be completely ignored/disrespected either.

I just feel sorry for the Muslim fans whom might actually want to listen to this song, but can't because they're kind of required by their religion to turn it off.

Ohhhhh dear, precedent.

No, sorry, they were following the precedent already set after complaint had to cut one of the world songs on the first Little Big Planet game's soundtrack for the PS3 when a bit of Muslim text showed up in the lyrics.

So, any angry high-school athie who wants Muslim Headline or SJW Complaint of the Day to bite the hook, the bait's about seven years old. Do try to keep up.
