I know how hard that can be.

I've had to tell someone that their significant other passed away.

Even when I know the relationship isn't going anywhere or that it isn't healthy for me, I have a really hard time going through the talk. I'm a classic conflict avoider.

This is somewhat grim and sad, so read at your own risk:

I went through a similar problem. I tried to tell my Dad I was bi. He still refuses to believe me and says it's "just a phase". Telling him anything is hard. He loses his shit over everything. Earlier today I had to say "Dad! It's just a fucking christmas tree! It's gonna be up for one bloody month! It's not ruining your life! Calm the fuck down!"

When you lie, and it can be over the simplest of things, but it's been years and years, and that lie has grown, and you have to say that it was all bogus to begin with..

"I think we should see other people." It was really hard telling that to one of my ex-girlfriends because she was a real sweetheart, but things weren't just working out on my end and I didn't wanna waste her time.

lmao im definitely bi too and my dad is usually the one to blow up for nothing but when i told him he didnt care it was actually my mom that went berserk haha and that was the same guy that beat the shit out of me for telling him how to properly pronounce john ''cena'' XD

Whats the hardest thing I ever had to tell someone?
I was working for a call center, supporting Humana insurance, pharmaceuticals.
A lady who is on a fixed income had our insurance, and found out that she had lung cancer. She had been getting her rather expensive medications knocked down to around $80 each with the insurance, but at the time of the call she fell into the medicare coverage gap, the point that she would have to pay for all her medications herself until she reached a stage called critical care in her coverage that would restart paying for her medication. I had to tell this lady, who was very kind during the call, that she had to pay for her medications herself. She came to tears because she could barely pay for the drugs with the insurance. There was nothing more I could do and had to tell her just that.

Hmm...

I can't really think of a singular incident. I suppose in general it's anything that relates to my emotions. I'm the type to deny the fact I am crying like it'll make the evidence any less obvious. The last lie about that I had made, was to my mother, and my excuse was allergies. She didn't believe me, primarily because I don't have allergies. Did I mention I'm a terrible liar?

So I suppose when I do talk about it, it can be really hard for me tell. I only talk about such things with people I really trust.
