You should have a look at the Crunchyroll app on the new Apple TV. Ugly doesn't begin to describe it. Think a screen of white text on an empty black screen with some tiny thumbnails. It's beyond belief how any company could release an app into which they have put so little time into the design. I've seen programmer only placeholders with more flair and visual appeal.

I was surprised by the new Roku app the other day, I'd prefer if the pictures were still bigger so I could see what the animation quality looked like. Plus as others have said a lot of wasted space at the bottom of the screen now which seems silly.

I think I preferred the old bar at the top that said how long you had seen and when you clicked rewind it didn't show you every scene and it was easy to go back too far. It made the app stand out from others and look more professional I thought.

I had no idea you could jump to the end before (no idea how you did it) but wish that it would go around like a loop like Viewster so you could click right and start at the end if you wanted to. Or maybe a function so you could just search your queue and not every anime title on there.

I have been having this problem as well. I've seen other posters saying so as well, but nobody has offered a solution.

I have a Roku 2, and while I can see my queue and everything, when I go to play an episode, I get the same "Playback Interrupted - Sorry, the app can't continue playing your video because of an unexpected error. Please check your connection." error. All of my other streaming apps have zero issue playing.

I have restarted and relinked my Roku, but it still does the same thing.

It would be great if the app would play video. I have tried everything but can't get my shows to play. I get a message that it has encountered a problem and check my conection. I can play every other app on my Roku just not CR. I deleted the chanle deleted all my old devices reset my roku re-added the channel and reconected the device. I can browse my cue read descriptions, anything but play a video.

Is anyone having a problem with the videos loading, since the update I have not been able to watch anything. My other stations or apps on my roku work with the internet I have which is wonderful. Thanks.

I'm having this exact same problem, I have a Roku 2 as well and I'm in the middle of an episode when this happens. Either that or it just gets stuck on "Loading" for an endless amount of time >.> None of my other apps do this or have this problem at all, so it's not my connection. Crunchyroll please fix this!

now, the only issue i have with this is how many times one has to press the fast forward button to get to the end of a season. why not make it so you just have to hit the left button on the remote and it goes from (if your on the first episode of the season) the first episode to the last episode of the same season.

If all you wanted is to get to the end, you can hold the left-arrow (on the cross) down and it will slowly repeat at first, then accelerate as it goes further.

But yes, I agree that as long as they used stripes instead of a screenful of tiles, they should have made them wrap around like the apps do for Funi, Netflix, TAN, etc.
